Posted: 7/5/2009 3:07:54 PM | If anyone could check out my profile and give me some comments (good, bad, and ugly), It'd be much appreciated. I'm trying to figure out why I don't get too many responses to emails, and if there is something I can do to improve my profile I'm open to any suggestions.

Posted: 7/5/2009 3:33:40 PM | I see a few potential turn offs - from a woman's point of view.
Headline: "Catch me if you can". - Leads the reader to believe right off the bat you're gonna play hard to get and all the ensuing head games that go with it. OR that you are trying to appear that way (even worse). I don't like it, maybe something else which is descriptive of *you* would work better.
The first paragraph - about you - is ok. Not incredibly exciting but I find it preferable to the typical macho jock type of things that we see so often we barely believe it anyway. Although the last sentence there - instead of "I also enjoy just hanging around the house, watching a movie" I think rewording to something along the lines of I enjoy staying home and cuddling up with someone special would work better.
Now you go forth in the next paragraph and tell us what you want in a woman, sexy and adventurous stood out to me. At which time you follow with a listing of movies and music you like. Ok.. nice list but what are you offering that sexy and adventurous chick? Not too much it seems besides a night inside watching TV? (not that there's anything wrong with that, but it probably doesn't attract what you are advertising for). How about working some of those interests back into that about you paragraph?

Posted: 7/5/2009 3:38:04 PM | You profile has lots of information, but not much personality. Rather than a series of lists, pick a few things that you are particularly enthusiastic about and tell us more - why do you enjoy it, more details about it, perhaps a little story - anything really, that allows you to share your passion. This will make your profile more personal and therefore more interesting. It will also give readers more to respond to if they want to send you a message.
More pictures are always a good idea. Do you have any taken outdoors? It's good to have a variety of looks.
Finally, try doing something a bit more creative with your First Date. Most people are aware that coffee is an option, and the pros and cons of such. Throw out some suggestions of things that YOU enjoy doing... this is another opportunity to show who you are a little bit. Show the reader why it would be fun to spend time with you.
