Posted: 7/6/2009 1:54:33 PM | yea i recently started talking to this women who is 32 and i am 27 not tha tbig a deal in my books. but yea she seems to come on alot stronger than any of the previous women i have dated. so im wondering is this normal behaivor or a warning sign of things to come ? not that i mind i women going ga ga over me thta i can handle , im just wondering if she does this with all the guys she talks to or maybe she is trying to grab my attention? lol i mlost and probably over think this but it is just new to me lol

Posted: 7/6/2009 2:23:43 PM | Her hormones are humming. You're tall, young and have a nice body. Isn't that enough?  Older women know what they want, and are flattered when they are able to interest younger men. It also pisses off some of the ex hubbies when they land a hot, younger man!
What are you looking for OP? A LTR? What is she looking for? Before you bed her, (if its not too late) you might want to double check that you're on the same page, in so far as what each is looking for. She may just be looking to date and have fun.
I doubt her domineering ways will get better. If that doesn't bother you - go for it - if you're both on the same page.

Go with the flow, know that they know what they want and are willing to just come right out and ask for it. Really takes the games out of it which is good. No guess work involved. There is a difference between going for what you want and being over powering though. It really depends on what you a refering to, I'm curious to know what circumstance caused you to ask the question. | |

When you are in a full on relationship with someone its hard to ask some of the more revealing questions or to be upfront and honest about what you want because by that time you are emotionally invested. It might just be easier for her to get everything that she is looking for out in the open so that if it is going to scare you off then its before she can get too hurt.
Thats my take on it anyway, if she's the one choosing where to meet, what to drink, which film to watch, band to see then maybe she is overbearing. But if she is saying I want this, this and that from a relationship then she might just be protecting herself.

Posted: 7/6/2009 4:19:25 PM | At 35 I can say that I know more about what I want as do most women my age. It's due to life experience. We know what works for us and what doesn't. I don't know that I come on strong, but I'm not afraid to tell a man what I want...because I'm way over the shy 20 yr old syndrome. In fact, anymore I feel like I should just take an applicaiton on dates with me..if he checks any off in the wrong column (such as checking yes if he has a domestic violence charge pending ugh) simply say thanks and walk away.
I don't think women in their 30s pull out all stops to get married. If anything, some of us are comfortable being alone and may date, but are over the fairy tale deal. Hence we tend to be more direct.
So...maybe she's just interested in you and is trying to cover all the major bases before she wastes her time on someone who has different goals or needs from her. | |
