I've received ONE response, and most just read and delete it. Is there anything I can do about not getting a response, or am I just screwed on this site? | |

An individual (man or woman) will respond to someone they are interested in. You have to understand that thier interest will depend on several factors that are beyond your control for example location, most women want someone that they can actually spend time with in person regularly. If you are just looking to have online conversations with women then you have to accept the fact that some women would perfer to have interactions with men in person, then spend all day talking to guys online, some us are a little more 3-D than others. | |

Posted: 7/8/2009 10:10:51 AM | It might be ok that you like hats, but in the only photo you have, the hat you're wearing is hiding your eyes. The most important part of a man to see (contrary to what many men believe) is their eyes. Women love to see eyes (as much as a man loves to see a woman's eyes).
For a profile review, go back into ALL FORUMS and look for PROFILE REVIEWS. Post a new thread in there asking for a profile review. Lots of good advice to be had and the replies aren't limited to 20 as they are here. | |

Posted: 7/8/2009 2:28:25 PM | Nothing that has any value is easy, nor should it be. You have to be patient and true to yourself... it is easy to jump into relationships, but it is a whole lot harder to get out of them if you find out you made a wrong choice. Take your time, make some friends, relax and have fun! Sure you may never find the right one for you on here potentially, but you will grow and learn from the interations you will have with others. Too many times we look for short term gains and forget about the long term benefits of just learning about yourself from others you interact with.
My suggestion is put many pictures up showing the different sides of you and just be honest to yourself by being honest to everyone else. Guys are expected to make the first contact and I usually just say I read their profile and looked at their pictures and wanted to say Hi, and then invite them to check out your profile and pictures and ask them to comment...  | |
