| Guy at a grocery store..what does this mean?
Posted: 7/9/2009 1:43:38 AM | So I was at the local staters with my good girl pal shopping for our movie and popcorn extravaganza and as we approach one of the isles this guy looks at us in a dead stare. We walk by him and I smile and quickly look away. His head follows us as we walk by and he keeps staring, but it's a really odd look. Kinda creepy and almost like he is dumbfounded...it gets stranger.
We walk down a few more isles and pass him a few more times. He is obviously shopping with his mother as it is an older lady. He keeps blantantly staring at us and completely turning around to keep us in view as we walked by. My friend comments "He was pretty hot" and I just couldn't help but giggle. She found him hot, but I was creeped out. I thought "Oh my god that guy must know me from somewhere" but I wasn't sure who he was staring at. A few moments pass and we get in line..lo behold! It is the same guy in front of us. He keeps looking back. I tell my friend "Stay with the cart, I forgot soda." I walk to get the soda, come back and he stares at me. He then nudges his mom and blantantly points at me. I turn away but glance back a few times kinda freaked out..
What the heck does this mean? The guy looked about my age, maybe older but not at all familiar. Any ideas what this was all about? The whole thing kinda freaked me out and I can't stop thinking about it.

Posted: 7/9/2009 1:51:04 AM | He probably recognized you. Most guys will not even think about hitting on a girl if their mother/grandmother/aunt with is them. And even the actual creeps tend to behave under those circumstances as well.
The fact the he pointed you out to his mother makes me think it was somewhat innocent. | |

Subtly checking you out from the corner of his eye would have been normal, but after a few glances, he has to either introduce himself or break it off. Staring at you like that and creeping you out is not cool. Nudging his mother is even more bizarre.
Next time, instead of soda, pick up a can of mace. And maybe some holy water. | |

Most men dont . we live in a world where parents are almost kicked to the curb. this guy seems to not be the same. I also respect my parents and take them shopping if they need be. He also wanted like 2nd opinion on what type of woman he is attracted too... and just wanted an honest opinion. oh well life goes on right... lol . have a good one.. Robert | |
