anyway... sometimes these forums seem like they have a lot of complaining, sobbing, and worryng on them. I'm here to remind you that often times if you take a deeep breath and look around, your problems really aren't that big.

I was suposed to work a double (2 pm to 6:30 am)but my car broke down on the way into work, at 130 on saturday. tow truck charge 65 bucks for 7 miles tow. My son had to come home early from his weekend getaway, so I could get to work. I missed out on 45 an hour pay for extra weekend time.
I just got the car out of the garage on thursday, 183 bucks. had in the garage 2 weeks ago for a broken fan, that was misdiagnosed as a thermostat problem-- 124 bucks. Ive just gotten over a cold I have had since last thursday, and quit smoking for 5 days, and started back after the car breakdown on saturday.
My other son graduates next month from basic training, and he called, wants me take his girlfriend with us to Fort Jackson SC, and allow him and her to "have their own room". he is 20, she is almost 17. He wont see her, or us, again till Thanksgiving break. Yeah, right. I really feel like smiling. | |
