If your on here to meet , date then how do you expect to meet the right one if you do not reply to emails. Matbe its a game rudness or whatever. What do you women think? | |

Posted: 7/31/2005 11:54:01 PM | | Well , Thats an easy one to answer, how ever I will point out it's just not Michigan, it's every where ,on line dating is a unique world , people can be who they want to be and some what different on line, I have been doing this on line thing for quite a while , we all as the site name says are Plenty of fish , if women or guys dont like what they see they will ignore you and move on and delete u , just like an on off switch. Most on line now adays are eather divorced , seperated , or dumped by a boy friend or girlfriend or even a husband or wife , once the freedom sets in we all and I mean we all become players , mostly just to see if we still got it, but then again it really comes down to ones profile , You need content , u need what the woman wants if u spark thier interest u will get a response , a simple Hey how are you and I like your profile would be sufficient to spark an interest , dont give them ur whol;e life story in a first email , that would defeat the purpose, granted ,women like to read profiles and get to know the person they are receiving an email from , so get the profile together and u may be surprised, Damn I sound like ann landers or some crap lol | |

How about an exchange of ideas between equals ? Aren't there any women out there who can financially take care of themselves ?
Why are the men always judged first by their job; then by their car/home/boat ? When are we ever going to break out of this materialistic culture that judges by what one has; rather than by who one really is ?? | |

I agree with just about everyone's replies here, though. It takes different perceptions and different people to run the world. If someone's interested, they'll reply. If not, they read and delete. That's their perogative (sp?). Just like in real life, not everyone's gonna like you. But, the one's who count are the ones that reply. That's my thought, anyhow. Oh, by the way, Great Laker, not everyone judges a man by his job or wallet or boat. ha. boat. Although, I must admit that having a job is a plus. ;) I stand on my own two feet. I have my own house, car and job - I do pretty good in life. I just don't have that significant other to share everything with. Posted: 11/27/2006 3:13:58 PM | as I may have said in previous posts on this issue. Many women, or actually people in general get on dating sites expecting to find EXACTLY what they are looking for. Women dream up guys that are as charming as James Bond that are tall and well built who's only desire is to spoil them with his endless funds he earns for just being confident and awesome. On top of that he even puts the toilet seat down! Whats worse, is that after dreaming up mr. perfect, they actually expect him to be wandering around single in cyber space just waiting to email a girl like her that puts up a cute innocent sounding profile that says things like "looking for mr. right" or "need a guy that knows how to treat a lady" or "make me smile" or even "i don't care much about looks." Even with the most open and accepting sounding profile, women still know what they truly want deep down.
Not saying your not awesome damionspapa, but your no Pierce Brosnan or Johnny Dep. 90% of the women in the universe will think they deserve better than you at first and conveniantly forget to check their plentyoffish inbox. Unfortunately theres not much oppurtunity on the internet to show them that you have more to offer when they just look at your pic and think "meh 50 year old man with a kid" and keep scrolling down.
Unless of course you want to be one of those people that trys to get attention on the message boards BY TYPING IN ALL CAPS AND INDIRECTLY SCREAMING "DON'T SCROLL PAST MY POST I HAVE STUFF TO SAY THAT YOU PROBABLY DON'T CARE ABOUT!!!"
other things that might either get you emails or a loss of respect is putting silly bouncing smileys by everything you say   or better yet! dancing bananas! 
that way nobody has to read your crap to know your caring  loving  a drunk  or even a **** 
and don't forget to let the ladies know your still legit by using angel halo smilies  
oh ya, and I don't get mail either, women don't like guys that are anywhere near pessimistic even if I'm just trying to be humorous and failing. But wait! Women need a guy who is CONFIDENT! So forget what I said about failing, I am so confident in fact that I know that one day I'll take over the world and you'll all be my slaves! And you'll be better off in the end when your my girlfriend, so send me mail ladies.

I dont get a lot of emails but then I expect that. However when someone does email I really know that they are interested because they took the time to read my profile.
Right now things are very bad economically in michigan. 1 out of 4 homes are in foreclosure.
I know many who are moving South or West...like Arizona, lots of jobs but lower pay.
I live in Northern Oakland County and there are not a lot of emails coming from that side of town.
p.s.
I am selfsufficent and not looking for someone to take care of me...on the other hand I dont want to take care of someone...those days are over....macaroni and cheese and love.....lol | |

Women are dumb creatures that play the field, looking for Mr. Hottie, get knocked up by him, get dumped by him, THEN, when they get older and their personal value decreases, ONLY THEN will they come alookin' ( when no "HOTTIE GUY" wants them and their baggage)... People come to this site with a lot of wants. Abstinent lady just happens to be coming here not wanting the****right away . ****can be kinda scary to women...... I mean look at that thing. I like to call it****phobia. There are a variety of reasons why women can be afraid of the**** Some are afraid of diseases, some are afraid of unwanted children, others afraid that their God will punish them for accepting the****before proceding with various****acception ceremonies.
We as men must prove our**** worthy. We must go to the doctor and prove it's free of disease, give it a raincoat, and have it be deemed sacred by the clergy. Of course, there are brave women out there that don't require all these procedures, however, they are looked down upon in society as "sluts" or "whores" even when they sexual heroines that risk it all to give mutual and instant gratification.
So go ahead, listen to your radio show, dump em after the 3rd date if they don't put out...... but how do you know it won't happen on the 4th? or the 5th? The only way you WILL know is if somebody is kind enough to let you know that they don't want sex like abstinent lady. Guys like Tony are the reason abstinent lady has to put up all sorts of message restrictions on her profile.
Which brings me to my next point..... which i'll bring up in a new thread, because I'm going WAYYYYY off topic.
