| this is for men and woman, whats going on with photos in the bathroom? Posted: 7/14/2009 7:55:11 PM | An overlooked point... When we see ourselves in the mirror, we see the face we're 'used' to... When people normally see their photo they often don't like it... the reason, left and right are reversed... it's not the 'face' we're used to seeing... however it's the face everyone else sees... People take a picture in a mirror, and look at the pic and think "Hey that looks good..." - because it looks like the face we see in the mirror that we're comfortable with.... Another interesting trick... if you have a computer, take a full on face shot... then divide it in half (left and right sides) in photoshop or whatever... then mirror one side of each and put them together... as in left:left or right:right If you followed my instructions so far... the pics will often be very revealing... the two lefts together will often come out as a fairly evil or angry expression... the pic of two rights will often be a very happy or good expression.... Have fun with that... | |

<div class="quote">How about they are too stupid to figure out just about every digital camera that costs over $20 has a timer.
"Stupid" is a little harsh, but I'm in agreement with the rest of it. I'll also add that most of them are equipped to attach to a tripod. What I really detest are the awful web-cam pics that look like they were taken with the cheap web-cam that came free with your internet access. The picture of me sitting in the chair reading the paper was taken with a Nikon 7.1 megapixal Coolpix digital camera on a $15 tripod. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done. Got them both on sale at Best Buy. With any digital camera, you have to play with the settings and take a few pics before learning which setting works best. I must have taken a dozen shots before I got the right settings/mode and angle. That's not being vain, just learning the camera for a specific purpose. | |
