Posted: 7/14/2009 7:15:33 PM | I watching a talk show yesterday where the subject was cheaters. Personally, I had never heard of this website that caters to cheating women (and men) called ashleymadison.com. Any way, there was a woman on the show that had used this site and as you can guess, her marriage is OVER. But she admitted to her...steady partner (whom she admits to having had incredible sex with) if you will that she has had 150 partners over a six month period since they met. Holy crap! That's like an average of two or three men a day.
Another woman signed up with this website and has had a few partners. Her husband on stage, too, but was crying about how he wanted his family back together, blah, blah, blah. Oh, and apparently he made the excuse of being scared the kids might hear them having sex. That was the most ridiculous excuse I've ever heard coming from a man. Isn't it usually the wife that has a bit of inhibition about kids overhearing heated passionate sex?
Each of these women cited the following as to why they cheated:
1. The husband not giving them enough attention.
2. Not wanting intimacy, or not enough of it.
I know my own marriage could've been characterized as all of the above. But instead of cheating, I divorced him and have moved on. Those women wanted to have one foot in the marriage and the other out.
I guess the bottom line is someone always gets hurt when this type of thing happens. I don't condone cheating no matter who is doing it or the reason -- either work it out or get out of the marriage.

Hopefully the crying husband found his back bone, divorced her, and got custody of the children.

No, I'm not the cold one here. His wife sitting next to him was ice cold. She didn't care if he was professing his love for her national television. All she cared about was that the other men whom she cheated with took her out and lavished attention on her. I wanted him to have some back bone and kick her to the curb. This man had genuine tears streaming down his face. Even though the relationship counselor in the audience said she didn't see much hope in repairing that marriage due to the wife's coldness toward the man, he still wanted her back. | |

Actually, that's less than one a day since there are 180 days in a six month period.
Well, she admitted to hooking up with two, maybe three men in one day. At any rate, I figured it averaged that taking into account that she may take a few days off when she has her period. Then again, that may not even stop her.  | |

I cut my hair off nearly every sailing season - although I have left it long ONE season. Our local lake and swimming in it is HELL on my hair - which is (as I prefer) my own natural color. I do not mess with what God gives me.
I'm newly shorn for Summer but I assure you this happens each year and it will be back to it's shoulder length curled state by Thanksgiving and Christmas the same as every other year. I too prefer it long - my mother prefers it short. If she nags and ****es a lot? I grow it even longer but her heart is not doing well this year so I'm being a good and doting daughter and pleasing her in all the simple ways I can.
Sorry fella's next time, I'll shoot you a memo.
On topic - should we fek and tell? I can count my lovers on one hand not one month's calendar. Isn't that the preferable thing to do? Golly I'm old - fashioned. Okay and just old - it's my birthday this week so I can be both.

The one I saw where the lady admitted to having over 150 men in six months was to her lover whom she met from Asheley Madison and he is married, but I cant remember if she was.
At first he looked shocked but then kissed her and said it was a big turn on ....
I dont think it was the other women who was with her husband that had the 150 men.

I know of a few women in my wide circle of friends who have had that many in a 2-3 yr. period. If you calculate going out once a week to pick up someone, it is easy to.
They were happy little bunnies when they first started. Newly divorced. Needing to re-affirm their femininity and desirability. Now...they seem to have lost some of their soul and spirit. Gotten harder. Seem to almost dislike men now.
We get together periodically to have interventions with them...when they really crash and burn from a broken heart...(thinking they met the One..) but to no avail.
We care...but they are adults and when they need us...we are there for them.
What else can you do? | |
