I'm just waiting to hear back from the POF "Event Moderator" -I had 1 question to be sure that I would be allowed to do this fun event, so for now:

LOCATION IS MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NYC, A VERY COOL, FUN, EASY-RELAXED PLACE WITH GOOD FOOD & DRINK. Easy to get to. Lots of fun stuff nearby, including Central Park!! I can hardly wait to post all the info--it'll be a nice time, for sure! In cool surroundings, comfortable, easy. I've arranged special drink prices! And......More info to come as soon as I get my answer from POF Event Moderator. Stay Tuned!

Please RSVP---just go to your INBOX, and look at the top of the page--I never noticed this before, so I don't know if it's new or not, but there is a "Local Events" to click on, and that will bring you to the list of events...just click on the one that I organized and kindly RSVP.
It is for Sat. Aug 1, from 4:30pm - 7pm...but you can stay later..it really should be fun, mellow and easy to talk to people. If you don't see the invite,. please post again here. Great--hope to see you Sat Aug 1 !!!
I am not just putting all the details here, b/c it is important that POF folks RSVP...the number count will help me let the venue know about the COMPLIMENTARY FOOD SAMPLING....yes, if we have enough people, the venue is happy to provide complimentary food from 4:30pm -5:30pm--that is the 1st HOUR only for the event. FYI--but the POF RULES for hosting an event prevent me from saying a minimum # of people, etc......BUT, I can say for sure that there will be special drink prices during the event, which is 4:30pm - 7pm, and folks can stay and hang out longer, but our special drink prices are just until 7pm....which is still very nice!!! | |

Posted: 7/22/2009 10:26:30 AM | Whats the name of the place? If you want music I'll play for free. Acoustic, stuff quiet enough so people can talk, and If people wanna come up and sing they can. Or you can make announcements through the mic, or whatever.
Let me know. Im excited I'm going to go either way.
