| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/15/2009 11:35:51 PM | I'm a bit on the crazy side! I mean, not "stab-a-****" crazy, but I've been taking meds for years for bipolar mood disorder, manic-agressive bipolar, and depression. The guys I date separate into two categories "not-crazy, smart, don't know I'm crazy" and "crazy, stupid, love my crazy."
I'm trying to find a smart guy who loves me - I don't care if he's crazy or not. Is there anyone out there like that? Smart guys who love crazy checks, sound in!

| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/15/2009 11:41:34 PM | | I'm confused by what you mean exactly. But maybe you can find a cool dude who also takes meds and you can go crazy together? | |

These men will be very attracted to you, but also very controlling. This type of man will believe he can handle your situation or keep it under control.
Drawbacks: The guy will be arrogant as hell. ====================================== vvvvvv Actually, I'm serious. One reason those Ph.D.'s choose their field is because they are attracted/curious about people who behave differently, and often their friends harbor some kind of extreme personality quirk, that under professional circumstances, they would medicate. In the same way, they seek mates whom they think they can "cure" with love and intense attention of the kind they are not allowed to practice professionally.
Quite frankly it's like falling in love with a patient - or in a worst-case scenario, becoming obsessed with a patient. I suggest this because these type will definitely have an interest in you.
Whether it's the kind of interest you want, if for YOU to decide.

| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/15/2009 11:44:47 PM | | Haha, but I don't necessarily want a crazy guy! I'm just wondering if any intelligent, normal people don't mind dating people who are a little crazy? | |

Further Drawbacks: This man may seem to be financially dependant on you, asking for money after every hour you see him. This man may try to entice you into doing drugs.
I'm assuming you were joking?

| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/15/2009 11:51:43 PM | Reading this post is just crazy :)
With all the millions of people on the planet there is someone out there for you.
It definately just isn't me ....

| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/16/2009 12:03:20 AM | I wouldn't really care if my guy was normal or crazy! I'm just wondering if any "normal" guys would date a girl who's on medication. (This medication works - so as long as I'm taking it, I'm normal-acting.) | |
|
| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/16/2009 12:06:05 AM | | When they are medicated well you can't tell the difference. If the meds are not correct then there can be problems. | |
|
| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/16/2009 12:17:40 AM | We are all a little crazy, but clinical is different. Not to be an a$$, but I think I would shy away, would not want to wake up with my penis crazy glued to my stomach, or cut off because you did not take your meds. LOL
You bring to light something I always wondered, do crazy people know they are crazy. I really think the true crazy do not know, so I think you use it as something to make you different and a challenge. So sad.
PS Have you seen my baseball.

| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/16/2009 12:21:05 AM | | It depends on what you mean by "crazy". My ex was crazy. But by that, I mean that she became violent when she was angry. I have no patience for that type of behavior. What matters to me is how she treats me, whether or not she is crazy. Medications? There are a lot of guys who wouldn't care about that. I personally prefer girls who don't use any type of drug, but you won't have much trouble finding someone that doesn't mind that. | |

I think I am smart and tests backed up my opinion, but some of my decisions have been pretty stupid.
I have fallen for crazy people but I did not know that they were crazy and they did not tell me in the very beginning that they were crazy. One dropped hints quite early and I did not get the hints. It would not have mattered if I had gotten the hint because I would not have walked away from love & infatuation. If somebody feels that way about you (and why shouldn't they) then they are going to want to be with you and your craziness will not turn them off.
As I have gotten older I have increasingly decided that almost all of us are quite crazy and needy but that does not mean that we are not lovable and smart. In fact the few people I knew who were the least crazy and the least idiosyncratic were almost too boring for me to want to spend time with them. "one in 10 adults and one in 20 children having reported prescription mental health drug use in 2006." If you don't worry about your craziness then the guys also probably won't worry about your craziness.

| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/16/2009 2:09:08 AM | | Depends on how crazy. If I come home and she's ripping up the wooden floors because she knows Diana Ross is hiding there and she's tired of Diana wearing her underwear while she's at work, that would not be cool. If she's a little unconventional, that's ideal. Like if she starts crying because she sees a three legged dog playing happily with a bunch of four legged dogs, that's kind of adorable. | |

But loving a crazy chick that cuts her self, takes meds, talks bad to her parents, yeah iv done it. She was a cool chick. Beautiful in my eyes and she loved me for that because i didnt see her as what everyone else did. *Crazy* I didnt expect her. I looked past it. It bothered me when she cut her self, but i kissed her scares and asked her with big eyes " Please dont. My pain is yours. You will cut us apart one day. "

| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/16/2009 8:42:19 AM | I have plenty of crazy female friends.
And they are ONLY friends for a reason.
This Virgo can only handle so much drama!
They can be fun and interesting.
But there's something to be said about peace and quiet and solitude w/o worrying about whether or not someone's gonna slash her wrists the wrong direction.

| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/16/2009 8:56:29 AM | Casper4U would be a perfect for you, just as long as you stay off your meds.
Seriously, anyone who admits to being crazy isn't crazy at all, just unique.
|
| Crazy girls - anyone like 'em? Posted: 7/16/2009 9:17:58 AM | | I suppose it depends on the girl, how good the meds are, and whether she is one of those people who will "go off the meds". | |
