Posted: 7/22/2009 11:06:13 AM | I have seen this nice woman on train and want to approach her. She looks at me and our eyes met for few seconds for several times last week. we both regular travellers. This keeps going for several days. Anyone got any tips or hints how I can approach her

If her eyes keep meeting yours, chances are she has some level of interest. If you get on before her, and she sits in the same place, sit near where she does, and just start with some small chat.
If she gets on before you, then walk up to her and ask if you can sit next to her. | |

As you approach her, you slowly pull out the bag of ice and smash it into the seat in front of her (bonus points if it's empty, x2 points if there's a Nun sitting there).

Posted: 7/22/2009 4:37:31 PM | Just approach her like a gentlemen and say to her I feel a little rude every morning, I see you on the here on the train everyday and I don't even know you name, my name is XXXX, how do you do and the conversation will flow, I have been in this situation before and has worked for me. No player lines, just polite conversation. If she is interested, she will definitely talk to you.

Just make some lighthearted comment to her one day. Like, 'So do you work at XYZ?' (Just guess a plausible spot, doesn't matter if you're right.) Or go with something cheesy like 'Race you to Station XYZ!'
Then the next day you see her, you will hopefully be able to tell from her body language if she is hoping you will talk to her again, or not.
If so, go and talk to her. Then you will find out if it is meant tu-be. (I know, but I couldn't resist.) | |

Posted: 7/22/2009 7:51:11 PM | Don't be a dork.Just look into her eyes, smile and say 'Good Morning' the next time you see her. When she says it back, start a nice, polite conversation. Don't be cheesy or stupid or stalkerish. Women hate that...we'll put up with it if we are attracted enough, but stick with the simple and easy. It always works, if she has any interest in you.

Posted: 7/23/2009 5:33:21 AM | Well you don't want to go over the top because you could possibly scare her away. You want to make her feel comfortable and non-threatening. The easiest thing is you want to make it normal conversation and then keep it relaxed.

You could say you've noticed her each day and ask:
if she's part of quality control for train food
or is she going home (when you're on the way to work) or going to work (if you're on the way home)
or ask for her opinion on commuting and see if she'd rather carpool
...all with big smiles on your face... | |
