If anyone interested in either let me know and I will be glad to organize it. There is a campground right there as well, so we can kayak from there down stream to a number of destinations or if you just want to camp and chill and just meet new friends hey it's all about having fun and meeting new people. | |

Posted: 7/25/2009 9:52:15 AM | I'd love to do the camping thing. Not much of a kayaker. But sitting in front of a campfire with new folks sounds fun. Would we need our own tents? I usually camp with my daughters and we stay in the rustic cabins, so i may need to purchase a tent - no problem. When are you looking to do this?

Posted: 7/27/2009 6:34:35 AM | I will be doing this at Brunswick Campground, Brunswick, MD on Sept 25 & 26. If you need a tent I have 3 extra brand new ones big enough for 2 adults that I will be glad to loan out on first come basis. On our last event for white water rafting it was a great time. This one will be a little more subdoed. Some will kayak down the Potomac River and some will just camp, everyone is there to just have a good time with no social head games. Let me know if your interested.

See below for all the details on this event. Some people may come for the whole thing, others may just come for the day, or any combination of camping and kayaking. Bottom line it's open to anyone that just wants to have fun and meet new people. We did a White Water Rafting event a few weeks ago and it was a blast, everyone had a great time. Anyway, if you want more info feel free to get back to me personally I would be glad to answer any more of your questions, meanwhile if you have any other friends who may also be interested hey the more the better. Just keep me informed if you're going so I can plan acccordingly.

Friday: Assorted activities, campfire, Mike Coppola should be there by mid afternoon with RV
Saturday: 8am-10am Complimentary Breakfast by Mike Coppola
Omlets, coffee – bring your own eating utencils, cups and plates
10:30am Kayak/canoes depart, should be back by noon
1pm or sooner , various games for prizes, “Adult” beverages will be supplied (cool, refreshing, Orange Crush served in special commemorative drinking vessels)
Campfire at dusk….more games
Sunday: departure
Other: For those staying overnight, tent campsites are $27.50night and can accommodate 6 adults per site at no additional charge
RV sites with electric and water $34/nite and can accommodate 6 adults at no additional charge.
Kayak rentals if you do not have one, you can call BTI 800-836-9911, this business is only 20 minutes away from campground, half day is $35, full day is $70. Check with them concerning availability, and other details
