| Everyone else is doin it....I want a thread too lol Posted: 7/6/2005 1:23:56 AM | My heart beats like the wings of a moth Sputtering against a summer streetlight All the neighborhood children have been called in for the night Their hungry stomachs grumble like monsters Fighting eachother beneath the dining room table The television buzzes in the living room Like a swarm of bees Just waiting to escape their electrically powered prison My heart beats like the wings of a moth Trapped and sputtering against a solitary winters moon
The autumn leaves have left so soon... I feel such beautiful solitary passion When Im alone and walking these snow covered hills Such serenity only exists ...when the world is frozen still

| Everyone else is doin it....I want a thread too lol Posted: 7/6/2005 1:37:00 AM | The sun pulls back the clouds, like a soft white quilt My golden egyptian princess rises again from the cold slate colored hillside Restless and on fire, from her midnight star strewn sleep Full of energy and promises in the daylight she must keep The field flowers become laminated in softest yellow gold Rose petals weep with dew,and then slowly unfold The sun beckons me softly away from my sleep With sultry warm fingers that reach me in beams My sun drenched skin unleashes sultry thoughts Of loves that came to pass...with the kiss of warmth upon me melting through lifes looking glass Everything it touches Is set in fiery glow
Im overcome by twighlights beauty, And all the promises it holds

| Everyone else is doin it....I want a thread too lol Posted: 7/6/2005 2:01:57 AM | I feel like a child just learning to walk To breathe, and to think, how to love, and to talk The difference now is so easy to see As the rain slowly lifts there is brightness within me The stars they fall shallow, and rest in my heart Like a box full of treasures where memories start They say theres true beauty that emanates from within Where does your soul end And my heart begin? The friendship the feelings my piece of the sun Lifes road somehow veered and showed me the one Who makes me feel something that once was denied The woman grew up,where once the little girl cried I feel like a child,so come for a walk Im learning to breathe, and to love and to talk Weve freed up those angels The sun soon will rise So lets drift to dreamland with love as the prize Weve found forever as night slowly dies And lulls us to sleep with loves sweet lullabye

| Everyone else is doin it....I want a thread too lol Posted: 7/6/2005 2:27:18 AM | A poem dedicated to my beautiful Grandmother..... Old Photographs in the attic~~
Spending time alone in the attic I try to touch my feelings They shrink away like paper tigers Trapped under water Black and white photographs Of someone elses memories Black and white eyes Cant quite capture the essence of the way Im told her she really sparkled Faint and distant memories of mine Fill in all her wonderful colors She had a Mona Lisa smile, and dark almond eyes like my mothers Posing in her light blue silk sunday dress The breakfast table where she sipped her tea With quiet ladylike confidence Her sincerity strength and love Somehow escaped the lens of the camera Technology missed her colors My imagination reaches out a timeless artists brush To fill them in where her life left off Someone will remember she sparkled that way She used to spend hours alone in the attic Looking through her hope chest The place her sacred memories rest Surrounding me in warmth Like a blue silk sunday dress As I reach to sip my tea With ladylike elegance Such tenderness, strength, and love I feel Yet it somehow seems to have escaped the lens of the world Technology has replaced so many of its colors I will fill them in with love as I go along I will remember
Feel free to post anything you like...Im hoping to see a bunch of different thoughts and writing styles in here. Its a free for all woo hoo!LOL

| I want a thread too lol Posted: 7/6/2005 2:59:27 AM | 4073 No Cotton without Thread 06 July 2005
As if a needle with cotton was not enough She wanted a thread too As if writing was a measure and stuff
So she began at the top asking others to join in This bull at a gallop Taurus to that of twin
A star to shine like she truly did fall from heaven to heart Towards in gathering a group of players to part
Allowing their words to flow within that of poetic hype This angel of enlightening whereas each letter came in type
“LET brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews 13: 1-2 KJV

| another one too Posted: 7/6/2005 4:21:18 AM | 4074 Ode to Sneeze 06 July 2005
A heart burns an understanding urns Where was tomorrow in sixteen hours of time Across a Pacific ocean to be there at nine
Like in states of eastern gathering the morning was to begin While far off in down under trends the race in obtaining the sun was everything lost to account of win
Whether destined to cat nap or awake to an evening breeze The whole world over a sneeze was still a sneeze
Since 1884, Greenwich, England has been the home of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), also called Greenwich Meridian Time because it is measured from the Greenwich Meridian Line at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. It is the place from where all world time zones are measured.
The Greenwich Meridian (Prime Meridian or Longitude Zero degrees) marks the starting point of every time zone in the World and is the mean (average) time that the earth takes to rotate from noon-to-noon.
GMT is the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map and sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.
The times of various events, particularly astronomical and weather phenomena, are often given in "Universal Time" (abbreviated UT). However, in the most common civil usage, UT refers to a time scale called "Coordinated Universal Time" (abbreviated UTC), which is the basis for the worldwide system of civil time. This time scale is kept by time laboratories around the world, including the U.S. Naval Observatory, and is determined using highly precise atomic clocks.
(New Zealand time leads the world and is 12 to 13 hours ahead of GMT (depending on the application of one hour Daylight Saving in the summer months). While in contrast New Zealand is also 16 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time (East Coast of the USA).

| A thread of your own. Posted: 7/6/2005 1:02:57 PM | My soul reaches out to feel The remnants of my smiling eyes All the pictures and stories Ive ever heard Frozen by your words I want someone to reach me Touch that existant part of me free up my stories forgotten with time Place a kiss on my tear salted lips Parting like the Red sea In waves of self expression Like smiling eyes Another day so softly dies I wont cry ill savor these emotions Like a natural high I can no longer pretend I cant force my heart to bend filling darkened empty corners Where no voices are heard frozen with a word Ive given in Just enough to need These dreams I wear like a necklace of stars around my neck The ones Id die to love and protect I want to move someone to tears with emotion Give new definitions to love and devotion Sleep softly with smiling eyes Entraptured by your lullabyes Savor all the songs Ive heard Frozen with a word

| Memory's forgotten Posted: 7/6/2005 2:04:53 PM | Forgotten memory's creep back into my thoughts Things I have buried deep hoping to be forever lost but I remember these times sometimes too well How life here is really not easy sometimes I too fell
Is it a bad thing for me to dwell on what is past? Yes it serves no purpose now because life is too fast To piddle around on petty lil things that used to be I know this is not the kind of life I want to live for me
I want to live my life here and now to live in the moment I don't want to look back on many wasted years spent Never noticing how good it feels.... to cherish today And knowing that at least this time it's going my way
So things just didn't turn out the way I planned Not enough for me to lose hope or not feel that I can Find happiness in what is in my life right here and now Living in the present moment is really the only way how To rid oneself of any worries, guilt, regrets or blame This can be liberating for one or more just the same
Be free of those memory's that serve to keep you down Fight on and strong stand up and take another round You know that what's in the past can not ever change Why hold on to any kind of hurt, anger, bitterness or pain
Letting go is one thing in life that can help you be free And offer you a stepping stone to be all you are meant to be

| My Tears Know Him Posted: 7/6/2005 3:05:36 PM | 2124
My Tears Know Him 21 July 2002
As I wake and think of Him my eyes become wet with tears Oh Lord my saviour true how I’ve loved you through the years
Oh Lord how I love you in my heart every day Even when to you such charity I may not say
As a moist tear runs down my cheek I know I am weak
Oh Lord my saviour true how I desire to love you Oh Lord prince of peace believe me and love me too
Your love planted in my soul your love seeded in my heart Oh Lord with water I die allowing such love to grow This living Christ within me my tears appear to know
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 KJV
"The proof of a poet is that his country absorbs him as affectionately as he absorbed it" Walt Whitman [1819-1892]

| My Tears Know Him Posted: 7/6/2005 3:08:18 PM | NEW LIFE
Older painful memories clashing Combating inside my pounding head Stained-glass window of the past Yet, etched in tarnished tints instead Light still shines through darker on some Reminding me constantly of their existence These times drain me of all other feelings With their unvarying resentful persistence For now I wait as colors lighten in time Gradually the healthier ones overpower Then new life emerges from within Budding like a fresh spring flower

| Empty mans soul Posted: 7/6/2005 3:36:17 PM | There was a man Who thought he had it all I branch I was sitting on Sent me falling in a storm
And on the leaves of the season I landed To look up into the sunlit heavens To see the man who thought he had it all
Seeing the figure I felt inside of me Wanting to be closer To touch to see
The reflection came down To show me the figure Who was really me!

3863 Knowledge is Existence 01 March 2005
Could it be if they were to meet Their paths would be on opposing sides of a street
On a roadway created by hands encrusted in hope The kind of union developed with fingertips held in grasp
This placement of momentum influenced by the eternity of time Captured within an imprisonment purely in evidence displayed in a mannerism to complete the crime
Then on that day both would be there that itself an element of known truth Nevertheless as two strangers whose characteristics each pass
“For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. For this cause ought the woman have power on her head because of the angels.Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman, but all things of God.” 1 Corinthians 11: 8-12 KJV
just nice to know what fell from heaven exists

| Morning Light Posted: 7/6/2005 7:56:30 PM | Morning Light I miss us when the morning light first pours through bedroom window, when the mockingbirds play their evening symphony, when spring's thaw draws wildflowers from the ground, when autumn leaves fire the sky, when snow envelopes dying earth! Your memory lingers like wood smoke. I can almost feel your hand in mine, and then, like morning clock's startling revelation, I wake from this dream to life's nightmare, and know that you are gone forever to a place I'll never go.
FFH, who am I to deny such a gracious request?

| Morning Light Posted: 7/6/2005 8:54:36 PM | I stare in amazement at the wonder in your eyes, Getting lost into their mysterious depth, Wondering what secrets they hold, Or how much pain they've been through.
Could I be the one to take that pain away? Or would you shoo me off like you did the rest, My heart is fragile, but it's full of love, Hopefully you will be gentle with me.
Don't break my heart for I shall never get over you, You could be my one true love, So hold on to me and never let me go.
hadn't been on most of the day, just thought of that at the top of my head. had an internet problem earlier. not bad for comin back with really nothing to write about. lol
