However, just over a year ago I was starting to have some issues in maintaining an erection after about 15 minutes of sexual intercourse when the other muscles I was using were demanding more of my blood supply. I also would have to wait for several hours before being able to get another erection. I did mention this to my doctor and received a trial sample of Cialis. I can honestly say that I have been very satisfied with how my body has reacted to this medication because I'm now usually physically exhausted and have ejaculated before becoming flacid. And now, after a long drink, a smoke and some brief conversation, if my lady is up for round two, a little cuddling and kissing has me all ready to go again! | |

I started to post a thread to this effect ...i noticed the other night a commercial on TV for extenze for her .... have any of you women used this ... this is more inline with my needs ..but after I get this for her i may need the male version for me ...one can only hope

Dave: you need to give a warning that some of these do have side effects and that there are and can be interactions with other pharmaceuticals, i.e., prescription drugs.

My question is does it work?
I've never had ED; but I did try Viagra out of curiosity to see if it would enhance my already potent ability. It didn't really change anything during sex itself; but it made spontaneous morning erections last longer before going down. That was a challenge because when you have to pee first thing in the morning, you don't want to have to wait five minutes for your erection to subside. | |

Oh well maybe he did not have time to lay there and kiss and cuddle. Very disappointed!!!

Why perfectly healthy men who are able to get a normal erection would be taking this drug is beyond me, it has many side effects and can easily raise your blood pressure. What kind of person would be taking this kind of risk for sex when they don't have to. | |

However, a few years ago my aunt who's a sex therapist was sent some trial offers for enhancements for men and women. She asked if I wanted to try them out and let her know if they made a difference or not. I said sure.
Out of the 4 different ones she sent me, the only one that I felt was worthy (for women anyway) was one called Stamina Rx for HER. LOL I feel sorry for the guy I was seeing at the time! It took about 1/2 hour - 45 min. to kick in but when it did, holy crap......
Anyway. I emailed the aunt and told her that was one she could definitely recommend to her female clients who had a hard time with sex drive or getting excited.
I don't know if they still have it on the market....(yep, they do..did a google search). I don't know if the male version of that works or not though... couldn't tell ya. | |

Posted: 8/2/2009 7:39:22 AM | A lot of the time it's psychological, which, ends up having a physical impact (like high blood pressure)... if the guy may be borderline diabetic (but may not know it), he can take chromium picolinate -- it stabilizes your blood sugar.
Other than that, what Dave pointed out, don't go with Yohimbe. It's the natural root of the pre-Viagra pharma drug... and it's risky.
Basically, the "natural" pills for guys all ride on L-arginine. It's -the- amino acid that pumps blood "down there", and in your body a requirement to do that sort of thing. Ginseng is good as it increases circulation, but for most, it takes several weeks to fully set into your body. Good thing about it is there are no noted side effects, as it's not super-potent.
Have your guy take 1g of Arginine every day if he has those problems. I took two 500mg pills once when I was in a working out kick... and in the morning, Mr Happy hurt because my flag was hanging over full staff lol | |

The person I experience this with did have a stroke yrs earlier before I met him. I did have him both with and without the "little blue pill" (I prefer that name) LOL (writers choice)
Anyway he was also suffering with diabetes. Hence that is probably why I thought it was marginal at best. Not "board" certified, (loves euphemism)
The question is deeper in that why is it; even he and others knowing that he needs it; say that they don't when it is very evident they do.
Why is it such a "degradation" to use something that you may need? If they never will acknowledge the need, they won't go to the doctor and ask. I know the pills named are for sexual dsyfunction. Hence I ask about other things that may be available because I want to know, and may find someones advice or experience helpful to my own.
There maybe other readers that dare not go to the doctor and simply ask, due to attitude about needing it, or cost, who knows. Maybe info will help them.
I may need stamina RX for women one of the good ole days. Now; I know something I may want to try?
Also it maybe helpful to find out how to comfront a situation like this, if the person refuses to acknowlwdge it. As I said earlier slipping it into a glass is just not an option.  | |

It's a guy thing... we really do have fragile egos.... especially about our HUGE THROBBING****..... most guys will sneak around to get their "vitamin V" or Vitamin C" a few years before they get over that embarrassment. It's easier to get over that once you realize a woman really... REALLY... appreciates it when a man can combine 40 some-odd years experience (or 60, 70... 80) with a penis that acts like it's 18... Skills AND a rock hard, throbbing boner!
I laugh when I hear guys say "Oh! I don't need that stuff!" .... well.... you will. So get used to the idea and don't talk smack.
I took Viagra on and off for several years.... Switched to Cialis last year, but insurance companies like to dictate how often you have sex and would only approve 8 pills a month... (15 for viagra) You can only split a pill so many times before it becomes useless.... So earlier this year I switched to the once daily cialis. It's awesome.... I'm ready 24/7!
I don't know about any of the herbal stuff except yohimbe. It does work, but like any unregulated herbal supplement, it depends on the vendor.
Viagra works for women too... works like a champ!
None of them will MAKE you have a hard on... if you're just not into her or in the mood... it ain't gonna happen. All they do is increase blood flow.... tumescence... that's what the doctor calls it.

I worked with an older guy that has plans for a romantic weekend with a past lover he
was hooking up with. He bought the "blue pill" for the weekend.
When he got back to work on Monday, I asked him how it went...
Well, you know how the commercial says that if you experience an erection for more
than 4 hours, you need to see a doctor?
Well he fell into that category and turns out that he had to spend a good portion
of his weekend in the ER...
He said that they put ice on it...
I guess it sort of put a damper on his weekend....

The idea that a guy might not be aware he has this problem is silly. My concern is all the advertising done for viagra and people that think it should be used to enhance sex, it wasn't designed for that and certainly isn't a wise thing to do at all if everything is working fine. In fact it can cause more problems than it solves, the side effects can be deadly. In other words it isn't a recreational drug. | |
