The only way an HIV test is beneficial is if you practice safe sex with your partner/s for at least 6 months before you have the test. During that 6 month period...you must NOT have other sexual partners or other "at risk" behavior. After that, you are "presumed" to be safe but if....and ONLY IF...you continue (all parties involved) to NOT have sex outside the circle or engage in other "at risk" behavior.

Sexual degradation doesn't have to involve coercion (though it can as part of the play--as long as this is agreed upon beforehand and there's a safe word in play, it's not inherently problematic), which seems to be what you have issue with. Talking someone into something they don't want to do is skeezy, but asking a partner to help you fulfill a fantasy if they're willing should be accepted practice in any good relationship.
