Muffy the dog has been found alive and well nine years after going missing. She vanished from outside her Brisbane owner's home.
But she has now been found 1,200 miles away - officials said Thursday.
Inspectors with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals were investigating a possible animal cruelty case at a home in the southern city of Melbourne two weeks ago when they found the fluffy white mutt sleeping outside on a scrap of cardboard, Victoria state RSPCA spokesman Tim Pilgrim said. courtesy of the metro
If you were missing a muffy , where would be the best places to search for it?

| Missing Muffy !! Posted: 7/30/2009 5:41:07 AM | Well I suppose you should start by looking for muffy in the last place you had it. So cast your mind back to those long forgotten days of plentiful muffy and when you find it stop looking for any extra muffy. One is enough. | |

I think that depends on where Muffy had been whilst missing all that time. Just think of all the dirty bones she may have picked up on her travels. I'd at least insist on giving her a good bath and possibly one or two injections before letting her near my coc....er i mean bone.

There's plenty of hounds on the loose round my way...a few howlers too.

Theres even been cases of a muffy going out and finding another muffy
The more the terrier!
I wonder how they work out which one is the giver and which one is the retriever ??
Probably just wait around for a backdoor labrador.

Muffy's, if looked after, normally stay in one place and become loyal friends that you get to know so well and have fun playing ball games with.

| Missing Muffy .......Where Would You Search? Posted: 7/30/2009 6:42:43 AM | Honestly, some people just aren't responsible enough for Muffy ownership!!
You should never allow your Muffy to wander about in public unsupervised... Tchoh... Muffys are notorious for doing exactly the opposite to what you tell them to do... Keep them under lock and key at all times and only allow them out to play when you can guarantee they won't get bored and wander off to look for something more fun to do!!!
Remember a Muffy is for life and not just for Christmas!!!

| Missing Muffy .......Where Would You Search? Posted: 7/30/2009 6:44:48 AM | Some people put little adverts in telephone boxes and free newspapers saying where lost Muffy can be found. I think it involves premium rate phone numbers and long conversations though, because they like to be sure you are getting the right Muffy. | |

Muffy round here is found around macdonalds and kfc trying to feed junior as opening cans and reading instructions can prove to tasking.
I think if muffy has gone her own way then it's best to let her get on with it. Yearning for muffy for nine years is unhealthy, especially as there are many lost and lonely muffies out there that would love a good home, where they will be loved and fed sausages and big, juicy bones.
