Fall Frolic and Dance night!
When : Saturday, September 12, 2009
Location : What about Bob's
#5, 1107 - 33 St. N. E
(tucked in between the Army & Navy store and the Bingo place)
One long block west from the LRT running up 36th St.N.E.
Time : 7:00 to close
Dress Code : Yes we would like you to wear clothes (but not jeans),
Ladies can wear dresses if they so desire ,
Gents to wear dressy shirt and slacks, jacket is optional
Your Hosts and Hostess shall be
~Duffster~ and ~Twinkle~ and samji
Update A brand new dance floor has been installed so we can dance the night away, and they are working on coat check area, not that you will need one!!
There will be Happy Hour drink specials:
$4.25 for Domestic Beers
$4.00 for High balls ( bar stock)
There is a food menu, with reasonable prices, for those that like to eat while out and there may be snack trays brought out around 10:30, (a work in progress)
The hosts met tonight (Tues the 8th) and we will have some special door prizes, and the occassional spot dance!!  
There will be NO COVER CHARGE
There will be a DJ to play requests, we have asked that he have all genres of music, especially: swing, fox trot, waltz, jive, jazz, rock (both classic and current)and just a little bit of country, just to name a few.
There are several hotels near the venue, one within walking distance:

and several only a five minute drive away, here are a couple that have been used in the past:

Holiday Inn - (403) 863-4780
If there is enough interest (we fill the location), it will be limited to Plenty of Fish members and friends only and we could do this again in a couple of months!
Did I mention there will be NO COVER CHARGE

No you don't have to wear a dress if you don't want to. But I say, if you got it, flaunt it! ( while we still can) I remember wearing pants under a dress in winter. When did we loose our practicality? ... Oh now I remember... around the same time puberty hit!
