| Vancouver Island Sept 4-7th Family Friendly Beach Camping Posted: 8/8/2009 4:48:47 PM | You could try posting this message under the events thread. When you are in BC Events there is a link to create a new party thread. Click on that one - then someone who has hosted parties before will see a link on that thread saying, 'Schedule this party' and by clicking on it they (or I) can send it directly to the inbox page with the other events.
I believe you might have created simply another message thread instead of a party thread. The above schedule this party removes the requirement to wait for the one event moderator's attention.
Hope this helps.
PS -it does not take control out of the event poster's hands i.e., all mass emails etc. are still only sent by the originating poster.

Would you care to make a bet on that?
THIS time I want that concoction you served me up for my birthday last year. This will be quite the challenge for you since I don't remember what it was called and it is possible that YOU don't remember which one you purchased for me!
No toKillya for you I can pretty much guarantee. Of course you still have a chance so go ahead and BET ME!
