Posted: 8/9/2009 5:21:48 AM | I kno for a fact that since becoming single my attitude to sex has changed and I have indeed become far less inhibited which obviously leads to a much better sex life.
But there are pro's and con's both ways. Personally I would still prefer to be with just the one partner regardless of how adventuous or non adventuous our sex life was. But having said that would I really? I am approaching what some would call my later life but would still like to think I will continue with an active sex life for many more years yet. Depending on who I will find and what their preferances will be. I think I am waffling so...
So is having sex better whilst your single or sex whilst your married? | |

The quality of sex will obviously depend on you and your partner (and your states of minds at the time) and every new partner is likely to provide/demand different experiences within the sexual act.
I would question why any mature and independent woman nowadays would feel the need to restrict themselves to one partner. | |

I was with a guy for 14 years, i found him rather dull after the first 6 months sexualy, he lacked imagination and i dont believe i was ever in love with him, not that i have to be in love with everyone i have sex with, but there has to be a loving connection which is different from being in love with them.
I must admit though, since i broke off the relationship of 14 years i have had the most amazing sex of my life. I dont think it would have made any difference if id have been married to any of these guys or not (ops that makes it sound like there have been loads, there was only 4 men and one woman, not all at the same time, well not all the time OMG! EIKS, gonna get all the pervs mailing me now). But yeah i think im trying to say, sex is amazing if your with the right one and will stay amazing or better still get more amazing as you discover and experiment more as you go along, but if it aint the right one then it will just be the usual run of the mill YAWN YAWN kind of whip it in, whip it out and wipe it on me nightie.
Make sure you try before you buy and that hes up for a bit of experimental fun before you commit yourself.
From experience though, i did have sex with a married man a few times and that was absolutly brilliant.
And with that i think iv said too much

Though after that and both know what each other likes and connect it is amazing and fully understand why single people have fook buddies and Imagine that as the best form of sex as there is a connection and like for each other and your making time for each other and are equals. Relationships are hard work and with more stress and day to day worries less empathise is put on sex and it suffers.
During though my one and only really big love affair and cohabitation with a female, when we made the time and effort to make love rather than a bunk it was extra special and sex just couldn't compete. | |

After the divorce, I went overboard and did the 'any hole's a goal' thing for a few years, don't regret it, loved every second (that's time, not participant!), but I do find myself beginning to hanker for a familiar regular partner now the novelty's worn off. | |

And have had an 8 year relationship, and of those two i can say that the relationship was better by far. From the first kiss to to the last day it ended, it was electric...... But was that because we where older and had more time for each other ?

It depends on who you are married to, so there is no definitive answer.
If you are married to someone you are in love with, I should imagine that the sex is wonderful, because you can do whatever you like, and so can your spouse, as long as both agree.
If you find yourself single, it is quite possible that you will never have sex with anyone who moved you like your spouse did, so it might not be 'as good'.
I've never been married, but I have had long-term relationships, and the sex has always been better than when it's been with casual relationships...
Oh, and being in love with the woman is the best aphrodisiac..... | |
