"Dating in the Dark"

I'm thinking about starting a "dating service" so to speck of..... its the basic concept of the tv show "datting in the dark"

In case you haven't seen it Dating in the Dark is a unique alternative series that asks the age-old question, "Is Love Blind?"

So my idea is to have both female and males invloved. They will have no chance of seeing each other in the light, they will have the opportunity to date in a completely in a dark room.

Looks will be taken out of the equation as the men and women get to know each other and form bonds in total darkness. After a certine time or a few days of dating in the darkroom, the participants will select if they would like to go out on a real date with each other. If both parties agree then they meet and if one of then disagree, they do not meet. (or maybe like the show, before they decide on if they want to go on that real date, they meet and then they must decide??)

anything can happen in the darkroom, it no hold bars?! lol?

So, I need to know what you think? is this a stupid crazy id that will never work????

I am in the process of starting the "surveys" that i will either go around with or mail them to random houses and have them mailed back to me before a date. ....

OHHHH and one thing I forgot to mention, if both parties agree to going on that real date, they will recievie a gift certificate for somewhere out town or something???

If the date doesn't work out, both parties are more then willing to come back and try again.....

And if I can get this off the ground and have a good enough sucess to it, I may not be just limited to st.john's, i maybe able to visit other towns etc

POF I need your help, I really hope this gets some kind of feed back :)

*** One thing, I hate to bring up, because I don't think its fair for anyone. But There would have to be some kind of cost to this. How else would I pay for the "dark room" and the gift certf. etc ??? Any suggestions on that? I don't want it to cost a mint, but I would like to be able to make some kind of profit so I can keep it running once it gets underway and maybe who knows, maybe I will meet someone myself! LOL ..... please feel free to leave any kind of comments

Thank you :)

Sure, it never hurts to try something like that. I would not personally go for something like that! Good chance of getting molested in the dark by a stranger and from the experiences I have had just going for a coffee in daylight was scary enough! God help the poor females in the dark, I'd say. Then what happens if someone sues your dating site?? Too many have blinders on already and dosen't realize this is a site to make friends as well as date.

I can see that really taking off in a place like NL because people here are so overweight and poorly dressed that usually I'd rather not see them at all.

Eh,,,try anything once,,,,,,,,,,,,
You never know,,,,,,,,,,,,
But isn't meeting ppl through here kind of blind.

Ha ha ha,,about ppl in nl being fat and poorly dressed. Haven't been to Miami lately, ,,have we?

Well,,just so you know,,,,,,,,,,,,wearing a t-shirt that says "no fat chicks" is in very poor taste,,so I guess you have to keep wading through the heavy , un-hip masses until you find the svelte, fashionista of your dreams..
