We will meet at the Rhododendron Garden at 9:00am. I will have a large fish sign, so that everyone can find each other. All are welcome to attend, and you may bring children if you like. Leashed dogs are allowed. The trail is approximately 4 miles long, and should take a couple hours to walk, longer if you allow time to stop at the viewpoints. Also, Five Mile Drive is closed until 1:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, to allow for hikers and walkers, so there is less of a worry about traffic for those bringing children. I'm glad you will be joining us! And hey, age is a state of mind. My great grandmother lived to be 113 and my grandmother lived to 99, so I still feel like a kid, lol! I have to thank latte girl for adding a blurb to her profile pic about the hike. I think that's a great idea and will do that with mine.
