I have been doing it for about 2 months now.
Here is a link form POF on how to be the host.

Also--when posting, click on the RED text that says "Illinois Singles Events"...and post there.
The reason is this----
When you post an event in the forum...only forum readers see it.
When you post in that red text area, it asks for your zip code and sends notices to everyone in that area. My first posting outside the text and in the general forums got like 20 hits.
Now 450 hits is average.
And since you are the host, you might as well put a link in your profile and say you are hosting the event. More people will find it that way as well.
I say, just post it and see who shows up. Bring a camera and take pics you will post later. | |

Not to actually date and or interact in that way.
I can meet all kinds of people thru my work and my hobby. I do not need meet up . com for that. Meeting the single and available ones out to actually date, that seems to be the problem.......................... | |
