To all who came ;ast night, It was the biggest Mid-week meet we have ever had, lost count of numbers in the end but am sure it was 120+.
Also a big thankyou to Adele my co-host for taking on the burden of writting so many name badges.
Hopefully you all had a good time, it certainly looked that way, and the bar staff were run of there feet for most of the night.
Pictures should be up later once Mark (The * Tactile * Guy) and David (Gemini x2) have cleared their hangovers.
Hopefully I will see many of you back again at the G&D for another mid-week meet.

Posted: 8/14/2009 4:36:14 AM | What an absolutely fantastic night!! Well done John and Adelle for hosting an awesome night and a big virtual kiss to the ever handsome DJ for knocking out some seriously good tunes.
My jaws ache sooooooo much from laughing we all had such a great time. (and yes I was sober due to being the driver for the night).
Talk about an increase in numbers .. the word is certainly spreading that this is definitely a fantastic meet! And I have to say that there were certainly some very yummy people there last night .. but me being my quiet and shy self *cough* just peeked at them from a distance.
I did walk away with an injury last night though .. a bar stool got tipped up and slammed onto my foot, which this morning is four times its size and a lovely purple colour .. ouch!!
Although I did have a couple of offers to kiss it better. 
Roll on next month is what I say!! | |

Thanks for the invite, I had a great night, met some lovely peeps down in Pompey!

Thanks to Geoff, Lezley, Sue & Norma for your company & looking after my Lemonade & Lime whilst I mingled.

was a bit scary being new to these meets, was too nervous to strike up chat and noone really spoke to me :(
never mind, was a nice friendly atmosphere so will work up some courage and maybe actually talk to some people nxt time!
aw you should have gone to see john he would have introduced you to some people hes a good host!
ill be there next time with my sis and a friend so feel free to come and join me at whatever table im sat at next time its usually the busy noisy drunken one! lol | |

Posted: 8/16/2009 3:55:52 PM | I enjoyed the evening, true a lot of people kept themselves to themselves, certainly a better option to go to a meeing than to try and strike up a converstion via this site online i feel but overall it was something different and a good night, dj was good too.
I see anybody wearing stripes came out a bit loud with the pictures :-)) | |
