Posted: 8/14/2009 5:55:00 PM | I know you'll think this is a piss take subject, but have been seriously arguing this one out for the last 2 hours with girlfriends and would like a male opinion...
So, in a long term relationship, a girl might collect a number of nurses uniforms etc.. which at the time were bought specifically for 'the guy'.
Once that relationship is over, would you (the 'new guy') have a problem with finding them reused for other relationships ie with you, or would you not care - knowing that they must have been purchased for some specific other bloke?
Not on about random girls in short term relationships who've picked up stuff, on about women you'd know must have bought it originally for somebody in particular.
Taking it as read that these items are, um, unsullied.

My thoughts are- why would he care? He is the one benefiting from them at the time.
How does he know they are second-hand?

We're in tricky economic times- who wants to use the cash for another 'wardrobe'?

Also, huge money saver for him cause he need not rebuy those things! Also, might well be appreciated, thinking that you are kinda kinky and into such things! Doesn't mean he can't "contribute" to your collection!
Of course, certain articles may be somewhat "out there"...like the enema bag and the 40 ounce bottle of booze...... | |

I usually feel weird wearing/using gifts bought for me by a man I used to date on a new man I would be dating. I usually get rid of the gift if it was said nurse's uniform (cloth... not leather)....Unless it is actual leather gear like wrist restraints and floggers that really is too expensive to just replace after every time I get dumped... | |

It would really depend on how....crusty....they are from being used with the last guy.
If they're clean and she's not modeling them saying things like "I can't believe I'm wearing these for you. I didn't mind wearing them for the last guy, he was a lot hotter, but for you...it's just kinda weird..."
Then I would mind.
Because really I have absolutely no idea if she simply bought them as a joke, a lark, her friends got them for her, they were a Halloween costume, for a costume party, or anything...unless she tells me.
So. If they are clean and crust free, and I don't have to hear about what happened last time she wore them (and something like she hopes that this time things are just as fun or some sort of comparison), then I really couldn't care less.

That's just how I roll... she may keep her belts though, just so you can't say I'm unreasonable | |

In my world... if something was not bought by a guy and by my own money... Most likely... it was bought because *I* liked the way I looked in it and figured it would be fun to wear to a club or for a play session. Honestly, if I waited to buy these things till I am dating someone... I may never get them! | |

As long as they're "unsullied" (I kinda like that word...sounds...fancy and proper) I'd have no problem with it. Now if she was trying to get me to wear something that she's bought for the other guy to wear.....ya, big problem....no matter how unsullied.
