Posted: 8/15/2009 10:09:59 PM | I was reading my usual, weekend trash magazine and I noticed on the problem page that a woman had written for advice regarding her BF flat out refusing to go down on her (for want of a better term!).
The advice seemed to be that there are plenty of other things to do and oral is not really such a big deal....WTF.
So I got to thinking, would it be a deal breaker for you if a partner totally refused to put their face anywhere near your bits?
Have you come across partners like this and what was the outcome?
For me...it would be a total dealbreaker......but I hope he does not expect me to return the favour!!  | |

Yeah, I can see why other women were advising her to hang in there and why she really should try to make her relationship work and hang onto him. Unfortunately I have. When I first separated years ago I met this totally gorgeous charming man. Movie star smile and a voice that belonged on radio. I was so totally bowled over that it took me some time to work out that he was the most selfish and boring man in bed that I have ever experienced. Once I realised that, and then thought about the rest of the relationship, I realised that his selfishness wasn’t restricted to the bedroom. Sucked in! He got dumped and I learned a good lesson.
Truly - if they are selfish in the bedroom then it’s a personality flaw that carries over to all of their life. I would NEVER again be with a man like that.
For me...it would be a total dealbreaker......but I hope he does not expect me to return the favour!!

Just reading this post made me wish ....that you wouldn't put such salacious, sexy things in your posts until the cows come home...cos the dearth is getting dire.
As for deal breaker...if he won't go down, how about standing on a step ladder? Look each to their own.....or should I rephrase that cos the number of lower lumbar back injuries trying to do each to their own etc etc Dealbreaker....well sorta yes, put up with zilch for almost three years and yet he still misses mine....have no idea why I didn't complain...must be the lady in me. As for women complaining, some men do not like the taste and unless you either like your own or have tasted another (and they seem to be different in a similar sorta way) then quite honestly life sucks...or doesn't!!! Took me years to pluck up to courage to say "look dear, with all your bitter painkilling medication I am sorry but it's spit not swallow anymore" so maybe a change in diet. I had an ex whose ex ate an inordinate amount of jam and honey...he reckons he could taste it. Personally I like the taste of hop beer when it has been filtered through.
