| Alright... Lay it on me! Profile review please! Posted: 8/17/2009 6:03:32 PM | I feel as if my profile is well-made and light-hearted. My original profile was deleted a few months ago, I have been on here since January.
Yet, profile views are few and far between, ladies seem reluctant to reply to any of my messages.
Surely I am missing something, any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for all your input!

| Alright... Lay it on me! Profile review please! Posted: 8/17/2009 7:09:36 PM | I think this is a very thoughtful, well put together profile. I only have minor suggestions. Personally I like photo #3 with the black shirt the best for your head shot. There are a few places where you could be interpreted as over confident and you could add more specific details like your favorite games or movies. You could also do a little better in the first date section.
I think you may just be dealing with too many guys and not very many women in your age range. Keep writing good messages to women you like and remember new people join everyday.

| Alright... Lay it on me! Profile review please! Posted: 8/17/2009 9:30:48 PM | | I'm big on brevity, because being a teacher, I can tell you that people usually glance at a few pics and skim your profile. Many women won't want to take the time to read the whole thing, so the only minor suggestion that I can offer is to make sure that you're first few sentences are as bright and polished as you want them to be. The opening sentences need to be the "bait" that brings the fish onto the hook, and anyone with journalism experience can tell you the same. You might want to consider eliminating any information that is not pertinent (and I understand that your profile isn't as long as a Danielle Steel novel): condense, condense, condense! | |

| Alright... Lay it on me! Profile review please! Posted: 10/4/2009 8:29:29 PM | Hi FFusion… If the ladies aren’t viewing you, then your primary photo is NOT working. If they aren’t conversing and replying when you email, then your Profile and First Flirts aren’t working. A few suggestions…. 1) Plaid doesn’t work for anyone….get a better first photo and get one that’s close up. 2) You have a handsome face, let it do a lot of the work for you. 3) Get an assortment of photos…most of yours are more like “party guy” vs. guy that has ambition. 4) No photos with drinks in your hand (she’ll wonder if you have a drinking prob). Drop it or crop it. 5) New name and headline needed. Fantastic is too arrogant, and “Shall we dance” is eliminating all the ladies who don’t dance or who think they don’t dance as well as you do. 6) You say you are looking for an ambitious lady; she’s probably looking for you. 7) However….nowhere in your profile do you talk about your ambition, your job, if you like it, what you do, etc. ADD that asap. Ladies looking for LT care about your job and if you like it. 8) Your 1st 3 sentences approx are what show up when she does her searches. They’re good quotes, but they’re far from show stoppers. You need GREAT beginning sentences, so rethink the beginning….maybe start with your job if you’re looking for an ambitious lady. 9) Or….start with your sentence about being an old-soul with new-age living. That’s farrr more interesting than your 2 quotes. Hope that helps. Best to you. DenverSky5280 | |
