| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/26/2009 1:45:27 PM | Just caught up with the lastest X factor on you tube, as I missed it on saturday. Seeing as all the forum members seem to love BB so much I am sure you are all fans of this annual bevvie of talent! So thought I would be the first to air an oppinion. Ok most are cringe worthy but when the good ones hit the stage boy it brings a tear to your eye. Not sure I like the new format, making it very similar to Britains Got Talent in front of a live audience. Saturday nights have just got worth staying in for Do'nt you agree? | |

Saturday nights have just got worth staying in for Do'nt you agree? Absolutely!
I shall not be going out on Saturday nights anymore until this years show is finished.
I hate the new format though, with the live audience, seems a bit too much like BGT, if you ask me, but i shall still be hooked!

| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/26/2009 2:42:37 PM | Yes I love it!!!!! Have always watched x factor and cant go out on a saturday night when its in the live shows lol im getting very sad

| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/27/2009 12:52:44 PM | Yes I love X factor. This year they have changed it. It is less uncomfortable for the judges, having the audience to back them with boos, cheers etc. I love hearing unknown talent.. I seem to be wiping tears alot though.. but not from my laughter, I get so involved ... and some of it is really heart wrenching lol | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/27/2009 1:11:57 PM | They have actually made it a lot easier for the more talented ones to get through by providing backing tracks, singing without any backing is no easy task, but now those that can actually sing can also do a bit of showboating, throw a few shapes etc, but the cringeworthy ones are still cringeworthy, but louder as they have a radio mic, and they can embarrass themselves to music-
This is about the only type of "reality" tv I like apart from the cop shows like street/road wars.

|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/27/2009 1:15:45 PM | True Nortyraskull, the music will hide some of the flaws in a persons voice.
And i did see one or two auditions saturday night without the music, why was that?
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/27/2009 1:24:24 PM | some people who think they have got the x factor and talent , and want to go places, obviously prepare well and turn up with tapes to back themselves with. at the end of the day ,they are after a proffesional recording contract. Others, who think they have got talent(and gods gift, and their mum says their super), just turn up. One or two of the second kind may get through and then have the benefit of the musical backing, and hopefully, will show how good they really are. and no- i didn't watch it as I can't get a tv signal at my present mooring but loved the last series | |

Oh I dunno, I've seen some absolutely criminal performances on x-factor, and some of those pretentious tw@ts on those come dine with me programs that I dont watch need locking up!
And i did see one or two auditions saturday night without the music, why was that?
I can only assume that they were offered a choice of backing or not,

| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/27/2009 2:02:39 PM | I'm not a huge fan, give me BB anyday. If I am going to watch it though, it will be now, in the early stages. It's not the X factor it's the cringe factor and it's the best bit. Come Christmas I'll be trying to RickRoll the winner again! | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/27/2009 2:10:31 PM | matt you can watch it on i player on line nice to see you back by the way and i have to keep typing cause its not long enough .... gerrrrrr who made it longer not.. still not long enough but that was all i had to say | |

I'm not on very often as I have to generate my own power, and laptop batteries are very power hungry!! I shall try to pick it upsome time, as el bambino and me love watching it, we predicted Alex from about week 6 last year (which pissed mum off)!!
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/27/2009 4:43:52 PM | I'll be watching Strictly Come Dancing on the other side instead
It will give me the chance to put my flared trousers on,a frilly shirt and do the rumba in my living room.
I just can't stand all those sob stories on the x factor and all the crying gets on my nerves!
And thats just Simon Cowell.
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/28/2009 3:33:25 AM | | I'm with Hams on this - can't wait for Strictly to start! I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I saw Joe Calzaghe in this year's line up!!!! Wayhay!!!!! | |

| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/29/2009 12:32:47 PM | But what about the lady from Trinidad & Tobaggo who'd moved here to live so she could go on the show? I thought she had great potential - outfit sucked, sheesh, get some clothes that fit! But voice - great!!!! She'll be one who will knock your socks off once they've 'styled' her. | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/29/2009 1:00:56 PM | I did cry my eyes out on the audition of the chap who'd lost his brother, really sobbed big time.
The Kings of Leon guy was fantastic, great song choice

| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/29/2009 1:44:37 PM | X factor this time has been spolied by having an audience and background music effects while the judges are talking.
I want to hear people sing not listen to an audience screaming and shouting.
I was also put off by the rapid flicking of one sequence to anotehr it just gave me a headache, I know its to stop us getting bored but is x factor realing that boring ?
A good show is being spoiled by poor proudction.
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 8/29/2009 1:54:06 PM | Now come on,The Stunners were the best singers as well as being, well, stunning
The girl from Tobago was brilliant!
