Does the blocking feature have an expiration date?
Posted: 8/27/2009 7:17:22 PM
I just blocked someone today and then when to check my 'blocked' history. I noticed that there are only a few profiles listed (4-5). I know that I have blocked more profiles (i.e. at least 12-14).

Does this mean that after a few months, the profiles I blocked will come back to haunt me?

Perhaps those profiles have been deleted?

The users probably gave up in frustration not being able to correspond with anyone.

your block lasts as long as the particular profile remains in existence.

people can cancel their profiles at will, and most can create new profiles, and contact you again. you can hope that those you blocked before won't contact you again, but if they've created a new profile, they could do so. most normal people won't do that, but if you encounter some who do, you can report them by clicking on the "report user" link at the bottom of their profile. and, don't forget to block them again...and again...and again.
