You did mention that men were fascinating and interesting. hahaha. I think I understand what you are saying and please correct me if I am wrong.
Are you referring to the age old myth that men think with their ointjay instead of their brain and that men are a slave to a woman's feminine charms so they can not be held responsible because nature dictates their actions? ie. 1. Do not expect men to be faithful to their mate because nature dictates that men must impregnate as many women as they can during their fertile years. ( I have heard a few women use this explanation to forgive a cheating partner)
2. When a woman`s girlfriend steals her man it is not his fault but the girlfriends because she lured and memorized the man with her charms.
3. It is not HIS fault, SHE came on to him. /She has got him wrapped around her little finger.
4. Everyone at work is convinced that the woman at your work place got the promotion/position because she slept with the boss.
There are tons of these myths concerning the power of a woman`s thingy and how she uses it for manipulation of poor defenseless men.
Men have a bigger head on their shoulders than the one in their pants and it has been used since the beginning of time to make major decisions so men are not helpless as they would have some women think. They invented the myth and it works great to this very day.

The idea that the seat of power lies between a woman's legs is really not that hard to believe in. From the day men are born, they spend their life trying to back into a woman, after all ;)
However, men have power too - a lot of power, it's just that sex is what drives most (not all) men and women for eons have known this and exploited it.
Also, there is the saying that behind every good man is a better woman. Men may make decisions, but I can guarantee you some of them were made first by women and presented to the men in such a matter that they agreed or were forced into it. Case in point: The ability for women to vote (which was first allowed to women who were married or related to men serving in the war). No man would have simply come up with that idea on their own, women had to lobby and work hard; perhaps not exposing their 'female charms', as you will, but they had to convince the men in some way or another to allow the women the right to vote.

Men have interesting angles both metaphorically and physically... and, "every straight line seeks a curve", says an interior decorating book I read. I have the curves...
Men appear to be dangerous because we (females) don't "get" them. But isn't it an exciting "dangerous"?
And definitely fascinating! I like men, and have more male friends that female ones.
I remember being a very young girl and peeking from behind trees, watching boys play:
Fascinated! ... by the way they moved, played, shouted .... I still watch them. I like the way they walk, talk, smell, touch, look at me. Hmm. Better stop.
