Hi Im Ashley. My situation that I am going through at the moment is that I have a now ex. He broke up with me because I wanted to further my education and my modeling career. And the thing is he wants to get back with me but Im not sure if I should let him back into my life. You see we known each other for awhile and dated for 5 years u know he was pretty much my firsat everything. But Im just so confused and very hurt that I just wonder he tells me if you really cared about me you would stop doing what you want to do and stay at the house all day everyday doing nothing with myself.. and I know Im better then that but I just need someone to talk to honestly and give me some good insight... All i can say is that if you still love each other a compromise would be your best bet.Maybe he needs to know how proud of you,you want him to be.

He doesn't need a SO he needs a puppy. One to greet him at the door wagging her tail when he arrives. These days both people in a relationship have careers and make time for each other when their schedule works it out.

Ok.. First you have to ask yourself what kind of guy would want to keep you down? If you want to further your education, I say GO FOR IT. Any SO worth having would support you in an endeavor to improve yourself. If they don't, ask why...

he tells me if you really cared about me you would stop doing what you want to do and stay at the house all day everyday doing nothing with myself tell him if he really cared about YOU, he'd stand behind you as you did what you wanted to do [as long as it was not cheating on him] find someone who loves you for YOU, not what he wants you to be :)

If you are both still in love then give it a try & see if he supports you in your decision now but if he doesn't support your decision then it's time to let him go & for you to do what you want & need to do for yourself & find somebody who will love you as you are & will support you in whatever you want to do in life. You need to do the education and modeling for you. If he doesnt understand that its his shortfall. Most men when confronted with lossing someone they love learn to make compramises and I think he realizes that he doesnt want to loose you.
