On Wednesday, you receive an invitation in snail mail. It says:
My place on Friday, 7 PM sharp.
Don't knock, the door will be unlocked.
Take all your clothes off, and set them on the chair by the door.
Find Me.
A) Would receiving this card be a huge turn on?
B) If not, what would you like the card to say that would turn you on?
C) If so, what you would like to find when you found them?

Posted: 9/3/2009 5:28:50 PM | That scenario reminds me of an ad for something or other where he gets an invitation, makes a (wrong) assumption and arrives at the house, takes his clothes off only to discover it is a surprise party waiting for him with business clients, family and other friends hiding in the next room. He's left standing there with a woody and a look on his face that could ONLY mean he's having the world's BIGGEST heart attack!
I suppose if either part was explicit about "take your clothes OFF" then one could assume the imminent meeting would NOT include guests from the office and close relatives ...
To answer the question tho ... I think it would depend on prior discussions about what your HOTTEST fantasy would be and although it appeared to be ignored or forgotten soon after that discussion, the surprise would be THAT.

I would not do the taking off all the clothes though, for me part of MY excitement is to dress up within the boundaries he's set. He enjoys seeing who will greet him at the door. He loves the effort and surprise.
We have also done the 'meeting' in our case it was.. I had to be a certain place at a certain time, wearing a particular outfit. Things like to one person it's a dealbreaker if she doesn't want to do such and such, and the sooner he gets that question answered the better, since it really is a dealbreaker. Of course, alot of women don't want to be asked those questions right away, so if the guy dates her and waits to discuss these topics, eventually finds out she doesn't want to do such and such, he sees it as a waste of time for both of them. But, probably, even if pof did have a checklist for this, it would be the persons who don't wish to discuss it the ones who choose not to complete the checklist:) So it really may not solve that problem. I've just seen too many people talk about problems over differences like this. For me, if a guy has a dealbreaker and for him it's a dealbreaker, yeah I'd want to know asap. No need to waste our time.
The flip side is that if you do want to find an eventual partner who wants the same things that you want, it would help those matches.
