Treadmill Help!

So, got a treadmill - an Epic 40 MX.

Got on it last night and ran for a quick 4 miles (30 minutes) - everything was going great then it started "slipping" - meaning that when I'd impact on the walking belt it would stop. It stutters like this with each step - when running. I can walk on it at 2 or 3 miles per hours just fine - no slipping. When I crank it up to 4 or more and my impacts increase with force (as I being to actually run) the stuttering gets worse. I can basically stop the walking belt by sort of stomping on it.

I pulled the cover off and what I see is that when I stomp down (or run) on the walking belt - the front roller stops spinning - BUT - the motor belt keps on turning. It's acting like the motor belt is loose - but I have tried to increase the tension to no avail. It still does it. I have also tried loosening and tightening the walking belt - but again to no avail.

Any ideas? I need this thing working!

I got one about 3 weeks ago. I do the 30 minute thing also ( or 4 miles). I know these things need oiled. That almost sounds like that is what it is.

You can call "Sears" if all else fails, or your manual should tell you how to oil this. I also know the screws on the ends needs to be adjusted, by your post. I kind of like this treadmill and thought I was more out of shape than I was. Four miles everyday is pretty easy for me ( or 30 minutes)
