Posted: 9/10/2009 3:25:08 AM | I'm with ya man, could do it again this year. Pretty much the same team is back and healthy but you have to look at the schedule, lots of prime time games on sunday nights against some tough teams who may want to show them up.
Hate to say it though we may lose the opener against tennesee, they have had our number lately and it is an away game. We may have to settle for one loss just to wake us up. | |

As for the Steelers, we should have it much easier this season then last season. The schedule is a lot easier and none of our starting players are really banged up. | |

The Steelers have made it to Super Bowl 7 times and won 6. It is impressive. What would be even more impressive is to see them go back to back and win again. Steelers fan I am NOT but they've got a GREAT team again this year, a SUPER defense that's amazing to watch, and Roethlisberger's drama seems to have ended.
One word of caution however, some might argue that c.ockiness as Super Bowl champs had something to do with their performance in 2006. Stay confident and by all means root for your team with everything that's in you but try to avoid being C.OCKY!! | |

They have the best organization in the NFL today. When Hines Ward retires will he be rank up there with Stallworth or Swann? His numbers are certainly comparable to the Hall of Famers at similar stages in their career.
When Cowher retired, I was expecting a drop off but it really did not happen. Credit the Rooney family with the hiring of Mike Tomlin. His choice of having LeBeau on staff pays off every Sunday. Additionally, their drafting continues to remain solid. You never really see Pittsburgh go through the FA route compared to Washington or Dallas. | |

He will be in it for sure when his career is done. I just checked out his stats and numbers surely show that he qualifies to the HOF, plus those 2 SB wins. All he has to do now is stay consistent.  | |

i started to call sears(a national company) and have a recliner delivered to ben.the last drive was crucial for the titans it may have killed them, ben had all night.i thought the offensive line came though when they had too. | |

I mean I could say if Hines Ward didn't fumble the ball at the goal line and gone in for the touchdown even if the Titans scored those 2 field goals the Steelers would have won 17-16 or at least tied it at 16-16 if we would have lost that game. But any team can say "If" every time they lost a game. If "Ifs" counted for wins then every team in the NFL would have won a Super Bowl by now. | |

Why do Raven fans always say Steelers suck and why do Steeler fans always sat ravens suck? These two teams are so much alike and have been declared the ugliest rivalry in football? How can either fan say the other one sucks when one can beat the other on any given day? Both teams are awesome and in my opinion two top ten teams in the NFL. | |
