In my opinion it all seems a wee bit too serious. You do however seem like a great guy but that feels like a bit of a chore reading through.
Personally I would lighten it up a bit, both in seriousness and bulk! | |

I want to put as much stuff on there as I can but that can also be too much. I just removed a couple lines of "quality" enumerations as they didn't really feel right to me. | |

Posted: 9/10/2009 12:20:49 PM | Ya, my only issue with that is that, when trying to add humour to my profile, people don't know where it's coming from and what tone it's in so it will usually just come off as unfunny, phony, petty or possibly even offensive. I know I have never been impressed by any jokes on any profiles here either, especially if it's with a copy/pasted joke. A bad joke is usually more of a turn off than anything and humour doesn't really translate well into raw text I find. I'll keep it in mind though, maybe I can lighten it up with something original without losing any sincerity. Thanks.

A few thoughts…
1) Nix the photo with the baby…I thought you were a single dad immediately!
2) The photo of you in the green-T is the most appealing to me
3) Change the shy to “I’m a quiet man but one of many layers” (that’s compliments of srqrandy from a post this a.m.)
4) Nix the “deciding to get to know me better’. Too negative.
5) SPECIFICS are needed badly: what movies you like, what music.
6) ADD,,,,Where you’ll take her on that 1st date
7) Are you looking for Lterm eventually? If so, you will be of interest to more ladies. Dating spells “casual” and “not serious” and “wants to get laid”. If you’re looking for more, then add Lterm. She won’t think it means on the 1st date, but she’ll want to know if she invests time in you, you’re worth investing in.
