| who's Big Fish? Posted: 9/10/2009 10:47:09 AM | I received the same message.
Big Fish is the Owner/Administrator of this site. You can change your password on your Profile/Edit page. This is what my message said:
We have disabled imeem/music on this site as spammers where trying to access peoples accounts with it. For your own safety change your plentyoffish password now!
I changed mine. ~mizz | |

| who's Big Fish? Posted: 9/10/2009 10:48:57 AM | Bigfish is Markus. The owner and creator of this site.
I changed mine and I would suggest you do the same. He gives the reason in his email.
An apology might be in order here, Cobra.

Edit: Posted same time as the lovely Mizz Demeanor...sorry.

| who's Big Fish? Posted: 9/10/2009 10:50:28 AM | I just got a message from Big Fish, telling me to change my password. Who's this guy and should I change my password immediately?
BigFish is the owner of this website and if he has recommended you to change your password I'd do it.
Msg 2 Don't worry I know he has a good sense of humour!

| who's Big Fish? Posted: 9/10/2009 11:25:28 AM | Just changed my pw. Is there any chance the feature will come back, Markus? I loved being able to put playlists on my profile.

| Changing Your Password Mail From BigFish Posted: 9/10/2009 12:10:08 PM | | I've never added the imeem/music feature to my profile. But I have listened to others music. Do I still need to change my password? | |

| Changing Your Password Mail From BigFish Posted: 9/10/2009 12:24:10 PM | Glad you posted here yourself Markus, otherwise, I wouldn't believe it, or at least would find it difficult to believe from a 42-yr-old woman who only dates 18-30 yr-old men and I didn't get the e-mail although my music is gone!

Spam, spam, everywhere... (that IS you, I hope)

| Changing Your Password Mail From BigFish Posted: 9/10/2009 1:04:43 PM | I'm feeling uneasy that this thread wasn't started by Admin and I didn't get the e-mail.
vvvvv I did read post 10, if someone could hack into accounts they could steal profiles. Just me, I guess, don't trust the initiator of this and I'm leaving for a while... bye...

Read Post 10 and your acknowledgement in 11 - why uneasy now?

| Changing Your Password Mail From BigFish Posted: 9/10/2009 7:27:53 PM | ^^^^^^^ Same here. Is it perhaps that the system is being overwhelmed because of the shear number of members all trying to change their passwords at roughly the same time? | |

| Changing Your Password Mail From BigFish Posted: 9/10/2009 7:36:09 PM | testing 1-2-3
I deleted my account and really find it weird that the OP of this thread did also.... just really weird.
Anyway, I'm back... | |

| Changing Your Password Mail From BigFish Posted: 9/10/2009 8:13:10 PM | | Had trouble changing my password earlier - mistyped a character, and the "e-mail password to user" function wasn't working - but I just tried it again and received my new password in my e-mail, so the issue is resolved for me. | |
