Posted: 9/16/2009 10:38:47 AM | I've been on this site for about 6 weeks now and I'm loving these forums. I read a lot of here and from what I can make out theres quite a few here that have been here a few years.
Is there anyone here that has actually met there partner through pof?
Maybe Im not in the right zone or something but the guys ive spoken to either want to meet on the first message, be a penpal?? , or blatantly ask for sex - there was me thinking I may get a date

First date for them on 21 February. Two weeks later they both changed their relationship status on facebook, he moved in the following week and it looks like they are going to get married in the not to distant future.

Your friend was lucky and maybe fate had a small hand, but good for her.

She sent me a lovely message a few days ago, we 'chatted' online, swapped phone numbers, chatted for ages on the phone and are meeting on Friday evening.
