Your main pic is blurry and not very good, and you are wearing a wife-beater or a tank top. Get a good, clear head-shot of you, and wear something decent. You don't need to be in a tuxedo, but look your best..and SMILE!. You obviously wear facial hair, so make sure it is neat and well-groomed. I like the pic of your pup, but it also shows a bed that looks like a college fraternity guy sleeps there. I'd stay with one pic of your pup. You are selling yourself here, not your dog. Ideally, a cute pic of you and your dog would be the best way to incorportate you and your pet. The photo of you in the suit is good. Keep that one as a secondary photo. Ideally you want 6-10 photos...in all different "poses."
Ok, your "About me" section has all the right elements, but needs a bit of re-wording and tweaking to get it to read right. Let's start with your interests. You need to add a few more, and add things that have broad appeal like music, cooking, eating, etc. The best "hook" I've found is my 2 or 3 sentences on my cooking (view my profile to see what I'm talking about.) See how it turns a love of cooking in to a dinner that someone is already craving to eat? You need to add personality, humor and flavor in to your profile. If nothing else, be specific. Here is a generic example: "I love Japanese food. I'm a sucker for those places where they throw the food around and cook in front of you. My favorite is Bob's Japanese joint on main street, they make the best chicken in the world!" Again, that was generic, but you see how it makes you and your profile look a lot more interesting? Statements/sentences like these will also add those subtle suggestions for someone to E-mail you, or set the stage for a first date.
You need to re-format your about me section to not look like a shopping list. Basically you need to turn it in to more of a "book" than a list. Take a look at some of the regular "reviewers" here in these forums. See how easy and interesting to read they are? I'd also recommend starting a new paragraph every 2-4 sentences. The format and small text on this site makes reading any more than that a bit difficult. That has nothing to do with you, but the reader will find it easier and more pleasant to read.
Also, type you profile out on MSword or any other word processor. You can spell and grammar check it, and then copy/paste it in to your POF "about me" section.
I'd suggest changing the "first date" section. I know what you are getting at here, but someplace quiet might suggest you want to attack her or get her alone on the first date. Most women (and guys) want a low-pressure/low-key first "meet" so stay with something like dinner (out), a drink after work, or a cup of coffee somewhere.

It's just the whole ONLINE DATING thing isn't workign much.
It only works to make money from desparate guyse (and some women), or help many women to get their personal EGO boost - "hey look how many guyse wrought to me! I got more emails then my friend! HA!"
Let the online dating be a SIDE thing , just in case kind of chance. Not your main place for dating hopes.

There are many nice ladies on this site who do in fact wish to date and many want to take that to a long term relationship, do not give up on that!!
I have met many very nice ladies on here, you can also!!

Your profile is rather generic - tell us more about YOU. Expand a bit on some of the statements in your profile. You say you are fun-loving, but your profile does not really feel "fun". What is your idea of fun? What is unique about you? You say you have a simple life - how so? Your interests include camping, fishing, movies - what details can you add to that?

If you were smiling in your main photo, it would be killer. What happened!?
You mention you live a very simple lifestyle. What does this mean? Are you totally cheap and recycle magazines as toilet paper? Or do you simply prefer walking in nature and appreciating the outdoors? Big difference..... You need to give examples of what you see as 'the simple life'. Do you grow your own flowers/vegetables? Want to learn?
You've misspelled "importance". It could have been worse, though... ;)
The first part of your profile reads like a list. Are you able to rework that to look more like a regular paragraph? You mention you're looking for someone with a good sense of humour. What qualifies? Family Guy? Jeff Foxworthy? Monty Python? Don't just say 'sarcastic', only guys find that funny.
The little details are what will help your viewer determine if you have anything in common. Good luck!
