I viewed
These are the last users you viewed. We only record the first time you view a profile. If you viewed someone 6 months ago and again today, and you viewed over 30 profiles already they will never show up on this list.
Can't seem to figure out the basis of the data, since the profiles that I viewed this morning
aren't showing up....maybe still in 'Test' stage.
Anyone else try it out?

Posted: 9/26/2009 11:03:53 AM | Yup, tried it out and like you, not sure how it bases its decision on who to show. Looking at who shows up, I'm sure that I didn't look at many of the ones it claims while I was logged in (I almost always look at profiles while logged out).
Regardless, it's an interesting new feature. A bit more information on how far back it goes and if the people drop off just like those who viewed you would be nice. | |

Posted: 9/26/2009 11:33:25 AM | It is an odd feature, and I think the data is only partially correct. I cannot state with absolute certainty, because some user may have added, removed or changed their photo but don't remember viewing a couple of the profiles.
Some of them I've looked at long ago and some relatively recently.

On a side note, the "Viewd Me" feature seems to be different now now.
The following 2 ROWS OF USERS, are users who viewed you at some point, and sorted by when they were last online
If memory serves correct this use be 1 row... 10 users, not 20 as is now. | |

It seems like that would have been simpler if a menu drop-down on the "Viewed Me" page let us choose how to view that page (order in which they viewed me; ordered by when viewer was last online.). Then it would be easy to add other sort orders, like distance; online-activity level of viewer (how much time they spend on PoF); communication-activity level of viewer (how much email they receive). | |

Posted: 9/27/2009 8:59:14 AM | Okay, I did a test, changed my mail settings to allow others to know I've viewed their profile, and then I looked at several profiles I've not seen before.
Then I go to the page "I viewed" and see several new profiles listed.
They are not displayed in the order I viewed them, most of them starting at the top left of the list, but following that is a mix of the newly viewed with some of the ones that were previously on the list.
Perhaps the order in which profiles are shown on this page is determined by when the viewed user was last on line, not when I viewed them.
Maybe some of you could perform similar experiments to corroborate. | |

That doesn't seem to be it either. I viewed 3 profiles and they do appear on the list
once I changed my settings to allow them to see I viewed, but the order they appear
in, is not the order that I viewed them in.
Then below, they appear again:
Users you viewed sorted by when they where last online...
Could be a good tool for people that have trouble remembering which profiles they
have looked at & maybe contacted. Some people might find it useful...but you can't be in stealth mode .

IMO it is a better location than previously, and the title is better. | |

Seems to be fragmented parts of a feature, but with so many gaps, it's usefulness is questionable.
Perhaps if it was combined with the Contacts page, then it would be of more value.
That way, people could see who they Viewed & had Contact with...jmo.
