perfume or not?

With all the talk about natural pheromones etc I often wonder if we are wasting out money on buying perfumes/aftershaves. (often terribly expensive)
Should we concentrate on smelling au natural'?
Would we be more attractive to the opposite sex if we allowed our own natural smell to shine thro without trying to cover it up with expensive purfumery?
Personally I love it when someone comments about how lovely I smell I cant imagine they would make the same comment if I was'nt wearing my favorite scent or would they?

Certainly not. A women wearing a nice perfume is twice as yummy as one without. It's just that less is more, if you see what I mean.... same for guys and aftershave (although they are not "yummy" to me, obviously).

I think perfume is nice on a date...not when all that effective at a public packed place where you barely smell it or hear yourself scream.

I prefer with, but sometimes without is just as nice.

I also prefer to go with myself, I always wear some kind of perfume, be it Lynx or D&G fragrance

Perfume...always.

Same goes for guys, if he smells sweet it all adds to the bigger picture of attraction, and also tells me he takes care of himself.

Although, that said, sometimes good old soap can smell good on a persons skin...clean and fresh is a winner for me.

All I know is that if I smell Joop, it stirs me - Au natural is good but Joop grabs my attention in a way that au natural doesn't. After I am grabbed, who cares so long as the scent is clean and fresh

Perfume makes me feel feminine and sexy. I cant wear it when I work as Im a cook but I like to wear it when I go out. Sometimes when I smell an aftershave I like I think 'mm come here'

Smelling kinda 'natural' - freshly showered, clean clothes with a slight washing powder scent - does more for me than too much aftershave which burns my tongue just looking at the guy. Deodorant is an absolute must though for both male and female - BO is just vile

It should be subtle and alluring, it is good to say you smell nice and to get closer for a better smell.

Personally it makes me physically nauseas if someone drenches themselves in perfume or aftershave.

I will dab parfum behind my ears and behind my knees which is more than enough. Or spray some on my hair brush and comb it through can not stand the overpowering smell of parfum on me. As my mom used to say, less is more.

Walking around smelling of bo when you can wear a natural deodorant is just a crime agains humanity.

Yup, too much perfume/aftershave on someone can give me a migraine within minutes. Was loads of fun trying not to wail and violently vomit when stuck next to someone on a bus who had obviously drowned herself in obnoxious perfume.

I agree that less is more. If you've got on too much, I'll just assume that you naturally smell like a pigpen and are trying to disguise it.

I love a good spray! I have lots of perfumes and deodrants etc.

Nothing beats Jeyes fluid though, tarmac and petrol, not to wear to sniff!

Obsession for women does it for me - from time to time I have asked women I barely knew, who where wearing it if they would mind me having a quick nuzzle, and I have never been turned down!
Love Obsession, very sexy perfume .

I wear Prada
