Posted: 9/27/2009 5:38:19 PM | OK..this is my first time trying this. So give me a break on this first one. I haven't got a clue what I am doing! LOL. Practice makes perfect ya know! So...As promised in my other post, here is a POF event.
DATE: Wednesday, 9/30/2009
TIME: -5:30pm -7:00pm FREE FOOD, then to when ever you want to leave.
(Pizzas and sloppy Joe's and other items. Not sure what else at this point)
Kinda of a Happy-Hour-stay-if-you-are-having-fun type of event..LOL

I will wear a ridiculous name tag that has big letters "POF" on it.
ADDED BONUS1:
If you introduce yourself to me with and tell me your POF screen name,
your first drink is on my tab!
ADDED BONUS2:
If you bring your favorite music on a CD, Break Time will play it on their sound system for you and all to hear.
ADDED BONUS3:
Drink specials like $1.75 beers and many more. (I'll try to get a list of specials posted)
So there's free food, Drink specials, your first drink on me with introduction, and play your own CD's.
(Look for the guy wearing the POF name tag..LOL).
There are games, Dart boards, pool tables and of course, the bar.....
I will also try to take some pictures for the night for you all.

I put this POF event up here in the forums, on my profile, and even Facebooked it..LOL
If this one doesn't fly, I will let you know and take ideas from you all right here on POF.
POF used to meet up bi-weekly so I will see what can be done somewhere else maybe.
So-first things first........POF Event on Wednesday!

Posted: 10/1/2009 3:04:37 AM | Well...this bar is huge with lots of space. We got our own area. There was an office party there with about 30 people to our left, there was a pool league with about 15 people, the bar had about 20 people there naturally...so there was lots of people to interact with and it was no where near crowded because that place could easily hold 10 times more people. So it was the perfect environment to kick back and hang out in.
There was music playing and tV's around to watch. Pool, darts, and video games. So there was plenty to do. I made a WELCOOME POF.COM sign too for it all. LOL
I left my camera at home so the only pics of the event were from our cell phones..LOL.
Let's try this next week. Wednesday 10/7/2009. Free Food 5:30pm to 7:30pm.., $1.75 drinks all night. Made for a cheap evening. | |
