You are invited to come for a fun night of dancing, making new friends and meeting old friends.
Live Band: "Woody James Band"
Woody James is a high energy rock n' roll band from Chilliwack, BC.
This band plays music both from their albums and also some killer versions of popular cover tunes, an excellent selection of good dancin' songs.

The band will play from 9pm to 1am.

No cover charge for Plenty of Fish members and their guests.
When you arrive be sure to identify yourself as a Plenty of Fish member to staff at the door.
A neon glow-in-the-dark bracelet will be issued to POF members and their guests. The bracelets help you to distinguish POF members from other patrons.
Don't be shy to introduce yourself to your event host or ask to be introduced to other fish.
You are encouraged to bring a guest.
If you are planning to attend this event please sign up below, so we can get an approximation of expected attendance and have lots of tables reserved for POF members.
Seating capacity is limited to 125 people so come early!

After the event there will be a follow-up forum thread created where your comments and photos can be posted to tell and show what a great time we had. There is intent to host more events like this for Powell River.
Out-of-town guests are welcome!

* www.discoverpowellriver.com has a section "Best Places to Stay" right at the top and lists all local accommodation. Both The Old Courthouse Inn and Island View Lodge are in walking distance from the pub.

Posted: 10/15/2009 10:21:09 PM | Alas, I have lost my pumpkin chariot and cannot make it to your fair abode this time round but I did want to say how much fun I had at this particular pub, how friendly the owner was, that we had a wonderful stay at this quaint heritage hotel and that I am not the niece or any relation lol!
Balled Eagle was a most excellent and attentive host - I'm sure you will have a great time as I did. | |

A couple of days ago I bumped into one of the servers who worked at the October event and she commented what a fun bunch we were and was delighted to hear another event was planned for November.

I have discovered that Lindt makes "Chili Piment Rouge" (dark chocolate infused with red chili). That sounds soooo good, I'll be having trouble resisting temptation. | |
