Excellent! I don't know who the manager was planning on having judge the costume contest but if you're serious Your Honor then I will put a word in for you! I think we need a panel of three to four... what do you think?? Definitely not more although less might be ok.... @:)
Hmmmm... gonna have to think over the voting.... I was thinking of having a box or something for people to put their votes into... but how do you keep people from voting more than once ? ('cos I am not gonna have *that* job, let me tell you- I would never remember! ) I was thinking of just having people clap and stuff but then that never seems to work well- usually the most revealing/ sexy costumes get all the noise and that's not what it is about. The little pencils and papers often get tossed all over the bar if they are on the tables unless they do Keno which they don't do at Mr. B. although i like that idea most so far... Maybe give everyone their voting paper when they come in? Then have the box they can drop it into by eleven or so (to give us time to count)? But then how does one narrow the field so we aren't getting 1-2 votes for almost everyone? Should we have the people who want to be in the contest sign up early and get them all together where people can see them before the voting? Does it have to be this difficult? Am I overthinking this?
Good observations, Curly. At least you have some time to think about the best way. I'll put my thinking cap on and see if I can come up with any decent alternatives.
