If you prefer a large and spacious venue with ample parking and seating in addition to a really large dance floor, J Dubs is the place to be!!
Live music starts at 10:00 pm and the cover charge is only.. 2 dollars & 3 dollars during POWER HOUR !
POWER HOUR is from 10:30 pm to 11:30 pm, and you won't believe what all a mere dollar will get you during that hour!
Once you get to J Dubs, you will find the POF party in the back. Look for the balloons that say "POF" by the back bar!

Maybe we could find a place in Dearborn or something? I think that would draw people from other areas and still be close to downriver. Years ago we used to party at the top of the Hyatt Regency. That was a fun place or what about all those hotels out by the airport? I know some of them have bands on the weekend. It couldn't hurt to give a different place a try for a change. The O'Tooles parties draw way over 100 people everytime, and lately we are struggling to get 30. | |

Posted: 11/4/2009 1:40:57 PM | I've only been able to make it down to one of the events at JDubs, I thought the place was super to organize gatherings. It's got PLENTY of room to accomodate many attendee's, has a good size dance floor and the food is good, I'm not sure why people aren't signing up.
I agree with RDToo, although I've only been able to find my way downriver once, I always appreciate the time and efforts put into organizing events for POF members. I know first hand that sometimes it gets quite hectic and no matter how hard we try, there's always someone that isn't appreciative. There's no way a host can be expected to completely satisfy everyone, but I think we ALL try our best and that IS all that should be expected :)
