there is a massive market for it.
But when it comes down to it , there are no prostitutes for women, this must prove that women are not interested in sex alone?? | |

A number of reasons I would think, being shy talking to women is one. Also, possibley being in a sexless marriage is another  . | |

Its kinda meant to be a bit more light hearted. I can honestly say I have never, but I wouldn’t judge someone that did. There can be many reasons for it.
For women I agree that for them it is called a male escort, for men it may well just be about sex, for women (even f’uglies - not my word) there is an emotional thing. If woman want no strings, straight up then I’m sure they would have no problems getting it which is why there is not really a market for it. Unless you are gods gift and women would pay you handsomely for it, but in that case its not just a quick fumble, there is a need for the guy to deliver on charm, manners and then finally. I’m not sure that a prostitute has to deliver any of this.

Some of these women may be married or in relationships but like having sex with other men for whatever reason, they get the sex and the cash. Maybe thats why there are more female prostitutes than men prostitutes, its called initiative. | |

Tosh! Why would a woman look for emotional thing with an escort,she knows that isnt whats on offer,the same as guys really.Though i can imagine that if the person saw the same escort regularly they could develop feelings of some sort.

Female and male escorts both provide a service to make the client feel that they are the most gorgeous person imaginable.That is part of what they are being paid to do.
In my opinion it isnt only ugly people who go to see escorts and both men and women can get it if they really want to with or without beer goggles but some choose to pay,some don't.Their choice. | |

Ok, I get the shy/scared of rejection thing, but not the sexless marriage bit... I've been approached more than once by men in clubs who offer up straight away that their married, but seem to have the confidence of experience to think it wont put me off!
I still think there's more to it than shyness, some blokes seem to want to show off about it like it shows virility or something... though it's not the first impression that springs to my mind about them! | |

At times of dispair and lonliness and missing sex you let things get to you.
I have never seen one and I don't imagine I ever will, just thinking about how many others had been there before me is enough to stop the thought.

Maybe you have Sam, but ask yourself this.. It's probably quicker, paying to get in a prostitutes knickers than wooing me to get in mine?

1. There are people who are driven by a compulsive need for sex. This can be true for men or women. In this case, the men driven by this compulsion can never get enough and frequent prostitutes in an attempt to get as much sex as they can.
2. Related to number one in this list, there are men driven by an insatiable need for sexual pleasure. Without it they are in a perpetual state of frustration.
3. There are men who find real relationships too risky for a variety of reasons including the fear of real intimacy. For these individuals there are frequent visits to the same prostitute and the fantasy of a real relationship with the woman. One aspect of this fantasy relationship is that the prostitute, unlike a real girl friend or wife, is not demanding of anything emotional in return. In a way, the prostitute is "soothing the psyche" of that man.
4. Misogyny is the hatred of women and there are those experts in the field who believe that men who frequent prostitute have a real hatred of women. For these hate filled men, women are made submissive and are even humiliated through the process of purchasing sexual favors.
This was the article findings not my opinions BTW. I think it would be wrong to make any assumptions why someone visited a prostitute only that, at that time, that was what they needed.
For most women, their sexual needs are closely linked with emotional needs and therefore they would not necessarily gain what they wanted from someone that they merely paid for sex. | |
