I posted this on another site and it went over better than I thought so thought I might try it on here and see if I can get any tips I didn't get on the other one. Please post any tips or suggestions you have. I have a question if anyone knows the answer to. Someone told me someone told them to use vinegar and water to spray your plants with for insects. I thought this might kill the plants. Does anyone know or maybe how to make the mixture? You know water/vinegar ratio? Hope to get alot of responses.

ok, I see alot of people viewed but no posting so either you are not into organic or didn't know the answer to my question. Well here is a couple of tips I learned. To keep bugs off plants use a spray bottle with mixture of soapy water with a little bit of rubbing alcohol in it. Not sure how much alcohol so don't start out with much to see how it works.
The other tip: When putting out plants use wet news paper, the thicker the better, and layer it around the plant with dirt and wet news paper in layers. Said weeds would not come up through wet paper.
Thanks for stopping by and hope someone posts any suggestions they have.
