So I have a girl that I am interested in and she works at the drive threw at a dunkin donuts. I do not know her from outside of there. Any good ides of how I would ask her out ??? Do I just ask her at the window, or maybe slip my number to her on top of the cash ?? Any help would be great!

Sure slip her your number with the cash and say "call me lets grab a drink". Just do not order hot coffee in case she decides you are a jerk and throws it at you.

Carry your lazy a$$ inside and introduce yourself would be my suggestion.

^^^Drive thru people are normally separated from others so unless he jumped the counter that won't help.

Stick with the secret note with the cash.

That's what I would do but please don't forget to give her your name...

She doesn't LIVE at the drive-thru. She comes and goes at some point. Go inside and ask when she'll be available. Geez. Who wants to be bothered by a man than can't make the effort to get out of the vehicle and introduce himself properly?

^^^Ok Cleverone. OFTEN they are not even visible from the inside. They are in the back or off to the side out of the public eye. I doubt the shop owners will view his intrusion favorably if he just wanders about in their store looking for her.

"She comes and goes at some point."

NOT advocating stalking her outside. Waiting outside for her to come or go? THAT is creepy!!!

If she worked behind the counter? Certainly better to ask in peson, but he specified drive-thru.

Thank you....you are clever. It was exactly my first thought.

Opie...go through the drive up...if she is working..buy one donut...park your car and go inside...give her the donut and ask her out.

And yes....duh....I know she can get them for free......that's the point.

Yes, because passed a phone number through a drive thru window by a man you can only see from the neck up, if that, is not creepy AT ALL.

This is a great idea.

With this plan, she is clearly working at the window. So you go inside and ask if you can talk to the girl ... I'm certain the boss won't mind her taking a break... and then in front of her co-workers and other customers a perfect stranger introduces himself and hands her a donut and asks her out.

How in the world can you see that going well?

Maybe I'm a sap...and am ok with that. I took that RISK with my post.

I stood out enough to for you to take notice.

I wonder how many "notes" she has gotten through the 'drive up' window. I have two daughters that have worked at such places...and have gotten more than a few. Just as one other gal said....pffff....get your azz out of the car.

RISK....if she isn't interested....he'll need to find another donut "dealer".

REWARD....If she is...they will laugh about it...possibly for a long time.

Sometimes you have to make an azz out of yourself.

Perhaps you are right...

Maybe the stalking or weak note passing thing will make her heart aflutter.

I am sorry if I offended you.. nothing wrong with brainstorming ideas here..

Personally, I would go with the note. It makes contact and doesn't put her on the spot. If one were to attempt an inside job, it is probably going to involve nursing a cup of coffee at the counter hoping to catch her out front at some point.

I'm with you Revilors. Nothing ventured, nothing gain. You may make a total fool of yourself but so what? There are worse things in life than rejection and the fact that you put yourself out there no knowing what's gonna happen gives any man bonus points in my book.

Most women like a man who has the cajones to approach her when there's no guarantee she's interested. Passing a note through the window is very passive and puts the REAL approach on the woman. I don't know about this woman in particular but I would never call a man that slide his phone number to me on a piece of paper and I had never spoken a word to him.

Please.....offended. None taken.

I would have to be pretty 'thin of skin' to have been.

And...

I would actually have to be far more invested in what others think of my opinions.

On here...or at the drive through donut shop.

Let's look at this from her point of view. Maybe she doesn't want to get hit on in front of her coworkers while she is working for a living. She is in a customer service position where it's required that she be polite to the customers so she smiles at you and makes you feel welcome. Is it really fair to her to make some grand gesture in front of everyone so they can bust her ass like there is no tomorrow?

IMO, Ask her out at the window. Anything else is over the top and intrusive of her work space.

I agree. asking her inside will likely be seen by the supervisor and manager. not a good thing to get her in trouble at work. unless you're gonna stalk her till she finishes her shift

Ok true story. My friend and her Fiancee met when she was working the drive-thru at a DD. He came and ordered the same thing EVERYDAY and just sat there all nervous. Finally, she asked him if he was going to ask her out or get out of her drive thru hahaha. They are getting married next October.

I'd say just ask her. You can always get your coffee at another DD if she says no hahaha.

Carry your lazy a$$ inside and introduce yourself would be my suggestion.

I know someone who met his wife when she was younger and working at a coffee shop. He eventually grew enough balls to go and talk to her.

As someone who has worked at a donut shop before and been creeped on, stalked, etc, I discourage slipping numbers, or doing anything of a creep-stalkerish manner. Definitely don't go in there sit down for hours and stare at her. Don't try to entice her into a hook up in the parking lot on her way out of work. Don't hang around or on her car waiting for her. If you see her in a bar outside of work, DON'T BE A CREEP!

Just go inside when it's not busy (very important because if it's busy, it's just get you in get your coffee get you out. ) and introduce yourself, tell her the real reason you want to meet with her. Don't try to be smooth or fly because you will just come off as another douchebag. Douchebags are quite abundant in coffee shops. Just be genuine and be yourself.

WRONG. Drive thru people are only seperated from everyone lse if the restaurant was built before the advent of drive-thrus.

Actually I'm correct. My local D&D, built only a few years ago. The person manning the drive-thru window is in a separate AREA from the counter. They can interact, but a person walking INTO the D&D cannot, just chat with them since they are NOT working near the counter. The customer would need to walk behind the counter towards the back in order to chat with the person working the drive-thru window.

And do people know how to spell anymore? It's Drive Thru. Or to go through somewhere not threw like you threw something.

Anyway just give her your number ask, but Please don't hold up the line with idle chat. People shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes till the driver and cashier quit socializing.

Really Clever One's response is classic! I agree! Get your arse inside and talk to her!

Oh what the heck, just ask her out at the window. Most of them are not worth the extra effort anyway.
