If there ever was a case for capital punishment, types of crime like this present a strong argument. I honestly don't know how the parents of abused children manage to restrain themselves, I know I couldn't. Now the state has to keep them in jail at the cost to us the taxpayer. I've went all daily mail on this, it just angers me so much. | |

Well just off the top of my head I can think of Hindly, Rose West, and Ian Huntleys woman, all willing participants in phaedophile murders, or at the very least implicit in covering up their men's vile crimes, I personally think that these sick people tend to attract like-minded partners, even the weakest of minds must know the wrong that they are doing. | |

I think these women have more than 'unhealthy minds' ......they are paedophiles pure and simple.
It always winds me up when stories like this break and they try to shift the blame to the male party or blame influence .........the truth is female paedophiles do exist and as this case has highlighted they are as capable of as much depravity in fact in this case probably more !!
Myra Hindley and Ian Brady spring to mind when these kind of questions arise 'he controlled her' or 'she fell under his spell' ...........I don't know about anyone else but my very humanity and moral fibre would override such sickness and depravity and any love that I had felt would turn to disgust and hate for that person and would definately not draw me more towards that person but quite the opposite.

These people are sick regardless of gender, just because there was a man involved he had to have made her do it, what a load of shite. If I knew someone I suspected of such depravities, I certainly wouldn't be coerced into joining them, my first reaction would be to call the police.
Unfortunately it seems to be a male dominated perversion, but as has been said, there are female paedophiles that are just as sick as the men, but I think more dangerous due to the misconception that women just wouldn't do it. | |

That is scary and people on the net need to be aware especially parents of youngsters, however, how the heck do you protest your Children, this happened in a nursery for goodness sake. They are talking of banning phones, and I thought there were security cameras everywhere in Nurserys these days. UGH.
I would imagine his computer has been confiscated, and been looked at for incriminating contents. The photos in this case though were on mobile phones.
We also have the case in California of Jaycee Lee Dugard kidnapped 18 years ago, aided and abetted by a woman Nancy Garrido. Easy to have a hold over a woman if they have sick tendancys. I agree, with the O.P. the women already have sick minds. | |

If I didn't have to go on the school run I'd do a little googling and get some info, but I'm sure if you want to you can google yourself.
I'm not sure if this applys to all of them, but at least knowing the cause is a start towards the cure. | |

As we are dealing with a dysfunctional brain here the only way to stop it acting in this way is to terminate it's function, and as it's attached to a body one must terminate that also.
You can not successfully 'treat' 'rehabilitate' or 'cure' a sex offender.
95% of sex offenders caught will re-offend within a year of release. Keeping an eye on them or keeping them tagged or under surveillance only makes them more devious. | |

Its been reported that there was no suggestion of these women being groomed.
Yes, it does go to show that you can get peadophiles working with children and slipping through the net, it does happen. There are people who specifically apply to work with kids so they can abuse them. I hope there are greater checks done by Ofsted, how on earth could people be abused in a day care centre with 8 other staff in and nothing get done about it?
It does also make you wonder about who you might meet online, through Facebook or anywhere. | |

Are our children not safe anywhere. On sky news last week there was an insert about a man who raped and beat his 8 year old baby daughter. What is wrong with people that they can hurt the innocent and defenseless.
I think it takes a sick twisted individual to act this way and there is no way that she was groomed into doing what she did. She was very much a willing participant. Read and article in the NOTW this morning where her husband had given an interview. My question is she was using the home computer sitting in a cubihole sending these images to this man. Do you honestly want to tell me he had no clue as to what was going on? Hmmmmm i doubt it very much. | |

I was always thought 'sick' could denote a couple of meanings depending in what context it is used .....Sick : Ill /ailing .................or sick: Depraved or twisted ????
I'm sure in the context of the subject matter most meant the latter. | |
