Posted: 10/2/2009 11:08:00 AM | I have'nt been to this place in ages or to any club for that matter. I noticed there ad in a paper so I googled and learned that there is a Friday night singles party for ages 30+.
Anyone go to this?
Is it as good as there website claims?

Previous post reply is a bit harsh I think...the music, lights, lasers, fog, strobes, all adds to the dance club ambiance....where is can us older folk go to? The drinks watered down? Please....buy a beer or cooler in a bottle or wine if you have a concern...
Yeah, there are regulars...but what place doesn't have them...at least you can respect them for hauling their a$$ out every friday night to a social place and have fun.
Sure there are cougars and boozehags, but again, what place doesn't have them, and more important, what alternative is there if you want to go out, dance, have the club atmosphere, and not be with 21 year olds?
I see lots of couples having fun, a good evening out. Lots of single women (oitnumber the men 3 to 1)....
The negative has nothing to do with the club, but the people and attitudes...so many men stand by the bars and stare (gawk/leer/gaze) at the women, then go home....dudes, get over the shyness...you're in your 40's and 50's...no wonder the young'ns swoop in at 1 AM and snatch up the drunk cougars 
Bottom line, thats all there is in that area...it's not perfect, but, it's fun, a good date night.
If you go there to have a drink and dance and listen to music and nothing else, it's a good place.
If you go there alone to meet someone and go home alone, then there is something wrong with you...there is lots of opportunities to hook up, for both sexes...just try. | |

I have never gone back since - nor do I have the desire! It is a hole in the wall - dump - that charges way too much for what they offer! | |
