I am new to motorcycling (2 months) and I just love it..........the rush of being on the open road with nothing to dristract you. I have riden out to Fall River Timmy's a couple of times, but I am shy when it comes to meeting new people.

Are there any guys out there that are turned off by a woman on a motorcycle?? Guys that are into it???

I didn't get my motorcycle cause I thought it would be a great way to meet guys, but I thought it couldn't hurt.

Any thoughts?????????

You could tune up your people skills and chat up with the biker dudes at Fall River Timmy's.

Yes, all those kinds of people will be out there - turned on, turned off etc.

I like my bike because it stays outdoors.

I wouldn't think too many would be turned off by a woman who rides a motorcycle.
That is unless she jumps on his and rides off with it.

Join one of the Nova Scotia motor cycle clubs.

Depending on the type of riding you like to do, pick a club that suits you.

Quick internet search will list all the clubs for you.

Your priority should be becoming a better and more aware rider, if you happen to meet someone then it is a bonus that they share your interest.

Now if I could only find a girl with an Aprilia RSV4 FACTORY, I would be all set.

To answer your question about guys turned off on female bikers. No way, they LOVE it !!

I find the whole Timmie/Perks biker crowd not my thing. Numerous times I seen a lot of that "crowd" very judgmental on what you ride and how you ride and the "regulars" who frequent there are typically a bunch of posers scared to get dust on their chrome. If you want examples and stories on why I'm saying this, feel free to message me. I have plenty.

When I'm out riding, I'm out RIDING. The good weather is few and far between in this province and I'd rather spend it ON two wheels as much as possible, instead of standing around chuckling it up with some group for a couple hours who use it as a social get-away.

Sure, I'll pull in to see what's up, but I'm outta there in 5 minutes if no one wants to go for a rip through the twisties.

ok, I don't know if that was a rant or not... :P

As has been said in the thread there are clubs that care what you ride, Income and social status. If you want to be an independent rider with friends to share moments with and not care what you ride, check this site: http://www.canadianlonewolftribe.com/
