| Rochester Get Together Socials Posted: 10/2/2009 2:42:28 PM | This is the first time I've seen a social event posted in Rochester. I had thought of attending but find there is no one in my age group, or for that matter 50-60's. I find Rochester men are very passive, not risktaking, to attend a social gathering. I think it would be a good idea to have social events for different age groups. So what would I have in common with someone in their 40's? or 30's. Just a suggestion. I would like to see more events, such as bowling, coffeehours, dinners, music and dance, and any other interests people would want. | |

Buffalo and Syracuse, Buffalo in particular, have some great POF parties. Rochester has tried a couple of times to mixed results. Not sure why. There's a lot of great people here and pretty diverse demographics. We also seem to have more than our fair share of bars, clubs and coffee houses to meet at. I always check to see if something cool might be set up. I would be interested.

Trust me there are many men in their 50's and 60's and we had quite a few at the last Jade event. Take a chance, even if you don't meet "the one" it's fun to get to know new people and network. Hope you'll join us!! We can talk about some other events!!
